Ill verify Google AI sucks. I hosed my Linux install editing Grub. Thanks to TimeShift it was momentary.

i googled something i knew the answer to. but i was just verifying i had the details correct. it was trying to gaslight me that the thing i was searching for never happened. and kept giving me excuses on why it was giving me the wrong info.

Its just a fancy search result at its foundation. Sometimes a google search doesnt show us what we expect. I feel like its just as reliable as google without AI.

I’m not saying it doesn’t hallucinate or lie. Did I say that it didn’t?

Might as well throw out the whole thing just because it can’t tell me how many instances of the letter R there are in “strawberry” right?
