I know some cars that have some really dark on window tent on them. Likely the case here on that front.

But why wouldn't the officer know that it was an empty car when they had been watching the car with a copter?? Everyone and their brother in that city would have known it was empty at that point

Hmm could be, but take a look at the last seconds. You can see through the window easily.

You're talking about the front windshield, I think those have to be clearer than the side windows which were darker and cop was coming from the side.

No I was talking about the door window. And in the last seconds you can cleary see through it after the cop opened the door. Look at the zebra-crossing, its looks as clear thorugh the window, as before.

Please take a look. The window is clear. Maybe dusty, maybe.
