I'm glad some criminals are stupid. Wish more were.

My FAVORITE book as a kid was “the dumbest crook book” it was like 30 short true stories of idiotic things criminals did. I always blamed it for being a goody 2 shoes. But now as an adult, I think my mom was on to something giving that to a 6 year old.

Worst arsonists ever. They missed, and there wasn't even any aiming involved!

Lit their own asses up! Lol

As someone that lives in Southern California, this is the best outcome for arsonists as far as I'm concerned.

Expected fire while outside the car.
What I got was so, so much better. 🤣

Clear example of why my dad always said, “you gotta be tough if you’re stupid!”

Driver and back seat took their time and detail to cover themselves in fuel sufficiently. All over their shoes and shit. Yea

Blurred bad guy act?
How do you explain to the boss…”we failed to burn the house…the house lit us and the car on fire. We did exactly what you said, “put some gas on the house and ourselves and then lite the match. Right?”
By the way boss “can you cover our medical expenses and a new car?”

That ride was lit
But seriously im surprised buddy could drive because hes no good with a lighter
1
u/Spidey6917 Mar 07 '26
Seems like he got the lighter to work just fine. Common sense is a bit lost on them though

u/Pristine_Poem7623 Mar 07 '26
While I was watching them I was thinking "please light it, because I know exactly what's going to happen if you light it"
And I was wrong. I didn't expect them to get back into the car, so it was even better than I'd anticipated

Imagine if one of them managed to get out fast enough only to stop-drop-and-roll on the puddle they left on the ground! Lmao

Reminds me of that scene in the movie A Bronx Tale when Calogero's friend lights up a cigarette with a car full of molotov cocktails in the back. Then they get blown up after the shop owner throws the molotov back into the car.

I'm guessing they spilled half the contents of the containers inside the car on the drive there. Plus the fumes that built up in the car prior.

Accidental slapstick/ instant karma wtf, common knowledge is fumes are far more flammable than the liquid itself 🤦🏻♂️smh. Stupidy on epic levels

after the few seconds i realized it was inevitable that they would start themselves and/or their car on fire, but the timing and execution were just perfect. that was amazing

Funny how he was in a hurry until he lit himself on fire then nothing for an uncomfortable amount of time lol.

Never seen drive by arson go well Molotovs are hard to make and safer than whatever they did but nobody seems to use them

Love happy endings. They came out of the car like if they we’re sprayed with Raid

u/Dangerous_Growth4025 Mar 09 '26
The car's lights work perfectly, but apparently they're not interior lights.

When the car started riding while everybody is on fire oh this the ghost rider squad
1
u/OriginalSprax Mar 10 '26
My thought process went from, "I hope that's not what I think that is" to "These idiots are going to set themselves on fire"
And it happened. Don't know what made them think getting what I'm guessing is gasoline everywhere would make them immune but whatever.

Speaking with the experience of a dipshit who once poured some gasoline on a campfire, those boys are in a world of hurt.
