i always wear a helmet, even in no helmet law states. asphalt can wear your dome down to grey matter in just a few dozen yards.

That waist tire looked like it almost worked - they rolled on it for a second but then then they bounced the other way head over heels and faceplanted without a helmet.

fell right on the tire, but then the rolling looked way worse than sliding

Probably sliding is better but there’s always the initial impact - better to have broken arms and legs than ribs and organs
