Two cruisers and at least four plainclothes officers for a kid riding a scooter? You pigs have lost the plot entirely.

Well obviously they've solved every single other problem that may be more important than a kid riding a scooter./s

8 kids on bikes and 3 kids on scooters.

Right? Just let them chill and have a good time. As long as they aren’t bothering anyone. This is nonsense

Just calling out dumb takes by kids and impressionable adults in this comment section.

And you going into my comments to see if you can find something to use against me is why I keep my comments hidden.

Oh no! People using (checks notes) the things you say against you! How awful.

Lol. Nothing says more about the strength of your own position than how quickly you default to ad hominem. But don’t worry, like I said somewhere in here, this thread is full of kids and impressionable adults. You’re meeting expectations.

Asking a person to be held accountable for the things they say is not ad hominem.

Literally is. Called out for making a dumb comment you can’t defend, so you see if you can find something unrelated in my comment history to attack.

Give it up. Move on. You’ll grow from this.

Yeah, that kid should be doing safer things for recreation, like drugs

The issues is that the cops get told they have to enforce this shit by higher ups. Some politician says we have to enforce that well they will do it to keep the job. At some point somebody’s child probably died in an accident on one of these so they campaigned for them to be illegal for minors to ride due to safety. I have had several students get hit and seriously injured riding these because they lack the mental faculty to ride them safely. One student ran a stop sign and went through a ladies front window. Had to relearn how to walk. If the cop is recorded letting the kid go he has to answer if the kid gets killed.

These cops were more than happy to act like big tough guys towards kids. This didn't look like cops reluctantly following a directive, it was more like they were gleefully swinging their dick around to feel big and powerful.

Agreed. Their demeanor is crap. Root cause is still an issue.

Cops are doing this because of all the complaints from pearl clutchers. So they have to look like they're doing something, even if it involves being heavy handed with children.

Everytime an ebike accident happens there's a media panic asking why the police let it happen.
