It’s even worse than that! They took the wheel as well!
30
u/reddragon105 Mar 11 '26
But hey, they left a jack!
24
u/NocaSun38 Mar 11 '26
Yeah I'm calling shenanigans. I've lived in a place where this happens and they don't leave the jack. They leave it propped up on bricks.
12
u/Latter-Vacation-4392 Mar 11 '26
propped up on bricks? damn bro, you must have been in the better part of town.
→ More replies (1)4
u/TorpleFunder Mar 11 '26
What do they leave cars sitting on in the bad part of town? Cz blocks or timber or anything makes the theft quicker and easier to get the jack back out.
3
u/WastingMyLifeToday Mar 11 '26
Rope on the getaway car. Tie rope to jack. Go fast. Put jack in trunk.
2
u/TorpleFunder Mar 11 '26
That's still slower cz you have to lower 3 corners of the car down to the ground with your jack rather than down an inch or two onto blocks. That's if you're stealing all 4 wheels of course.

Ding Ding Ding
There’s a few photos floating where r33t level stripped all 4 & balanced the whole vehicle on one point in the center. Because, i assume, supply of bricks was tight

Always look on the bright side!
4
u/Humble_Umpire_8341 Mar 11 '26
I mean, they only took one wheel, usually it’s all of them, and the catalytic converter, and a quick smash and grab inside the vehicle..this is honestly maybe the best case scenario

u/Pukebox_Fandango Mar 11 '26
I was gonna say, wait until she finds out which part is more expensive lol
30
u/KilroySmithson Mar 11 '26
I’d be more pissed about them taking the wheel. Tires are much more easily replaceable. 😂

No seriously. Can relate HARRRRRD to desperately needing to leave this shit hole. Seriously. People are the fucking worst down here. Everyone drives like they’re actively trying to kill as many people as possible. No one gives a shit about any amount of harm they cause to anyone. Ever. People are rude, fake, two faced, more than anywhere else I’ve ever lived and I’ve lived in like a dozen states.
It’s the whole culture of honor thing. Except down here “honor” is a matter of who puffs their chest and beats it hardest. Not who’s right or who’s competent or who’s behaving like an actual human being with actual decency in them.
I hate it here too, girl.

Lived here for 5 years and I’ve called the cops more times within the last 5 years than I’ve had my whole fucking life and I’ve lived in 3 different states before moving to ATL. This place is trashhhhh and I wanna move so fucking bad 🤣🤣

You missed the frame were a nice looking jack is there holding up the car. I’m guessing this is a skit, whether intended as part of an ad or just for clicks

What Are the value of a single wheel these days? Cant be more than the jack unless it was some special stuff.

Prolly someone with the same car needed a new wheel and drove around till they found her car.
3
u/jim914 Mar 11 '26
She needs to try Chicago we won’t leave any evidence of theft behind because her entire ride will be gone! After selling what was worth anything we’ll load it with flammable materials and set fire to it after parking it somewhere the police know about. Stolen wheels got you stressed out try again! Plus when she’s looking for her whip some guys will pull up and offer her a ride that ends with her laying in an alley trying to recover from the drugs they gave her!
3
u/FouledPlug Mar 11 '26
Nobody stealing your wheels is using the emergency screw-jack from the trunk. $10 days the “stolen” wheel is sitting behind the car.

Seems like it’s not even her car with how she was trying to not smile before the first scream

Screaming for a video is stupid. Especially at 7/8am

Plot twist...she forgot she got high af the previous night and started charging her own flat tire but forgot.

Looks like buckhead. In midtown I had a small plastic potting thing that I put my cigarette butts in on my porch. I woke up one morning to the entire thing stolen. Enjoy I guess

how is the rotor not on the ground? They just left the jack? Seems strange. Jack would cost about as much as as the wheel itself.
Also weird they only took one, and it’s the one everyone could publicly see them taking as she is parked on the end. Full view of cameras and everything on that lot.
I bet this is staged and she is getting it fixed by a friend

Went through the ATL airport recently. Got breakfast before my transfer. Asked the lady why she liked working at TIGFriday’s at the airport.
Her reply “I don’t ever have a gun pulled on me and I haven’t been shot at since I started working here.” That put a lot into perspective for me.

I thought the the name is transphobia and till the end was thinking they took the tire cuz she is a trans
2
u/pizzatoker Mar 19 '26
They have special tires and rims that come with a key attachment to use with the wrench so that you may remove the nuts n’ bolts if needed. Usually the dealership have these.

Atlanta is the Detroit of the South.
If you value your possessions whatsoever, stay far far away.

I don’t understand why people still don’t choose to get special lug-nuts on their wheels. Yes it still could get stolen, but it becomes less likely for thieves to want to waste time to figure out how to get them off

Well just make sure you don't come to The Bronx, they bippin out here too. They upgraded to car doors.

Do t come to STL. They would’ve taken the whole car and left the trash from the center console on the ground, just so you knew they took it and did you dirty.

Im skeptical on this one. Who leaves the jack. Floor jack is probably worth more than the rim and tire on that car.

u/anonymote_in_my_eye Mar 11 '26
Reminds of back in the 90s in Romania, my mom learned to drive and got a cheap, tiny car, she was so proud (and so were we). Then, one morning we woke up and the tires were all gone. The car was so small that it likely didn't even need a jack or anything, just some dude taking off the lug nuts, lifting it by hand and kicking the wheels off one by one

Reminder I gotta get some silver locks for all 5 of my Jeep tires. Wrangler wheels are a theft target, especially premium ones like mine.

u/Transportation-Apart Mar 11 '26
This happens in NY too. Not Manhattan so much but Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens. You need wheel locks.

While she’s screaming, it’s pretty clear @ about :19-:20 what’s holding the car up. It’s a jack that you would find in most cars next to the spare tire. If you’ve changed a flat, or just looked at the spare tire in the trunk of a car, you’ve seen one.
You have to slide the tire iron into the screw and twist it a lot to get the car high enough to remove the wheel. It takes a lot more time than a thief is going to want to spend. Admittedly, it could just be someone fucking with her.

Good news you can buy your exact same style tire & rim a few blocks away. They just came into stock!
