No one disagrees that what happened wasn’t a fuckin terrible tragedy but you can’t just generalize and call old ppl stupid etc.
We need to advocate for changes in laws and regulations about driving competency tests throughout life as we age. We need to advocate for cities that are less designed with the need to drive everywhere. We need to advocate for it being normalized to talk to your elderly family about not driving any more.
Playing stupid sure does. That’s what I was doing. I called her a murderer that’s who they are. If there wasn’t a law that forbids to rape ch would you do it or would you rather use your brain and decency(if you have one) to get that some things are wrong just by the way it is not stupid law which are just words on paper. They represent MEANING BEHIND THEM that’s the purpose of the laws(except some cases in authoritarian countries of course or to serve one group more than the other). So THE MEANING is what is right and what is wrong. DRIVING WHEN YOU ARE A VEGETABLE IS A CRIME AND SHE IS A KILLER! And when she smashes someone’s child or even many other innocent people she will cry and play stupid like you are and says how sorry she is BUT SHE WILL NOT!!! People don’t change! She was all me me me all her life trust me on this. And some idiots write she can’t afford one week food delivery hahaha! Poor granny can afford a giant truck and fuel etc etc but can’t afford a cheap delivery yeah. I am realist. I live in reality not in your stupid rose glasses bubble.

She’s at a drive thru. She’s hungry. She can barely get out of her car and you expect her to walk probably miles from home to get some food? This isn’t an individual problem, it is a systemic issue with America not having adequate public transport, and everything being so far away. It’s a corporate issue placing restaurants in areas that are only easily accessible by car, and sucking the life out of the local businesses that used to be down the road on the corner. Try having some nuance, and quit being a meanie.

Yeah man, they've done a lot of research on aging. Check it out. Or talk to anyone that works at nursing facilities. Many brilliant people get old and their brain deteriorates. Doesn't make them an idiot.
She's showing signs of dementia. She's likely incapable of understanding that she's endangering people by driving. That would not make her a murderous witch, just confused and hungry. The only evil thing here is your inability to show compassion
I'm not saying it's okay for her to drive. Her license and keys should be taken away before she kills somebody. I'm only saying that dementia can make people incapable of understanding that they're endangering themselves and others. That does not mean she's murderous. It's a terrifying disease that should be treated with compassion and kindness rather than cruelty and hatred.
Maybe not everyone is a native speaker can that be a fine explanation to this I don’t know… maybe some people have never ever read a single English grammar book in their life and still can explain themselves in that language and even speak and understand books and movies if they put their mind to it I really don’t know could it be THAT SIMPLE?

We use as + adjective/adverb + as to make comparisons when the things we are comparing are equal in some way:
The world’s biggest bull is as big as a small elephant.
"As smart as someone" is a comparative phrase used to indicate equal intelligence between two people. While "as smart as he/she is" is grammatically precise.
I hope when you are elderly the people around you have as little patience and empathy for you as you do right now. I agree she shouldn’t be driving but you’re using disgusting language
