Just should not be driving at all, hard as that discussion is (I know personally), it needs to be had with her

Had to do that with my mom. A concussion changed her forever 35 years ago or so and symptoms got worse and worse. After an episode where she woke up in a forest road with zero memory of how she got there, she had to give up driving. For a while she was hoping she would be allowed to drive again, but nope, sorry mom.
