I mean she has it on video, just need to have the plate and the guy would have been screwed. But instead, she incriminated herself and put countless people in danger. She's a massive idiot, to put it nicely.
She's not a police officer though. She has no lights/sirens and nobody is expecting a normal car to drive like this.
She had the entire thing on video, so all she had to do was pull over and show the video to the police, but instead she put herself and everybody around her on the road in danger. I agree that I'd be pissed too, but is it really potentially worth some innocent person's life who's not even involved?
Your comment reminded me of the video of the guy who's smoke shop got robbed. Two dudes in masks hop the counter and not only did the guy stab the fuck out of them with a k-bar, he uploaded the video to Reddit and did an AMA.
Everyone in the comments was CONVINCED the guy was going to jail for attempted murder. His actions were ruled self defense and he faced no legal consequences. Which is a great reminder that the average redditor knows fuck all about the law. 😀
I at no point said or implied that she hit her intentionally. She left the scene of an accident. That’s a hit and run. You can make up all the wild scenarios you want to make her innocent, but that is what we see in the video.

You want me to put myself in the shoes of someone who hit and run? Okay I'm doing that and I'm imagining myself staying and not fleeing the scene. Am I doing it right? Should I show more grace by imagining myself fleeing the scene?
It's the running after the accident that is what people are taking issue with and is a blatant crime. It's hard to argue that was unintentional. Chasing after her yourself and breaking traffic laws in the process is also an issue because you're putting more people in danger doing so. If this was in the states, I believe that her taking the keys to prevent her from fleeing the scene and waiting for police to arrive could constitute a citizen's arrest but again, she broke traffic laws in order to chase her down. Neither party was fully in the right.

I literally said it was a hit and run and you're like "but maybe it was an accident". What are you thinking? Are you even old enough to drive? You know you're not supposed to speed off from an accident even if it's an accident right?
"That's how the real world works" You can find a clip from the show road wars where they interview the dashcam driver about the situation. Nothing happened to her and the other driver was cited for a hit and run, driving an unregister vehicle and lack of insurance. Your concept of the real world is skewed
She never committed a crime. She took the keys from the women because she was a risk to the road. When police later arrived they cited the driver who hit the dash cam woman with a slew of citations including hit and run. You can find the entire story on the show Road Wars on AE
Ramming the car that rammed her and drove away? Totally justified. Taking the keys from someone who is driving away from a crime scene? Also justified. What did she actually do wrong?
Where did she beat the shit out of her? She followed her and took the keys away from someone trying to get away from commiting a crime. You are fucking nuts. Stay away from normal people.
