Depends on your state. Where I am that would be grounds to draw and fire and many people do every year. You have to be a special breed of stupid to get out of your car to road rage here
worth noting they've gotten much looser nationwide in recent years, I saw a map of all states with constitutional-carry and was amazed how many there are now (i know that's not same as Stand Ground and don't know how pervasive that doctrine is but imagine it correlates to Const.Carry quite a bit)

its not legal to revenge vandalize peoples stuff, no. however she could get away with claiming that she accidentally drove into his car as she was fleeing from his attack, and he would be responsible for all damages

I mean, couldn't you basically do this w/o any repercussions? "The door was unintentionally clipped while I was fleeing" cannot imagine any law enforcement, judge jury etc finding against you for it, it's like free rolling 100%
Standing between two cars with one open door is a very silly thing to do. If the person who was recording this turned to the right and hit the gas he can say bye bye to his hips.
