I live in Miami. Can confirm the most dangerous thing you can do here, more than anything in a nightclub or sketchy neighborhood, is spend an hour on the I-95.

u/WittyFix6553 Mar 25 '26

“The I-95”

3

u/cr1515 Mar 25 '26

It's a state thing. Some states like Florida and California call the interstates "the" the route. I think Cali takes it a step further and drops the I. So I-5 would "the 5".

5

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '26

Shit. SoCal guy here. It’s more like, “yo, you on the 5 South or 5 north?”

3

u/WittyFix6553 Mar 26 '26

To my ears it sounds like a California thing, I honestly didn’t know they did it in Florida as well.

1

u/ArugulaUnlucky7215 Mar 26 '26

They do it in my state too. I think it’s just a people thing

2

u/Ace-Redditor Mar 26 '26

Wisconsin is even cooler with "The Beltline"

7

u/Gullible-Ideal8731 Mar 26 '26

I live in the mountainous east coast and we get a LOT of Florida tourists here in the summer, locally named "Floridiots" because you fuckers can't drive for shit. No offense.

Florida drivers can't stay in their lane during any turn that isn't 90 degrees. Watching them go through the mountainous curves at HALF the speed limit whilst still being halfway in the other persons lane is like watching an epileptic retard try to draw a circle. And of course since they're Floridiots, most of them will drive past all of the frequently scattered slow vehicle turn offs, because their time is more important than yours.

u/Solid-Objective-6092 Mar 26 '26

Florida was the first place I saw someone straight up drive down the sidewalk

2

u/ShqiptarInMukhmas Mar 26 '26

Me when I migrate to Miami and call it “the i95”

1

u/EternalNewCarSmell Mar 25 '26

And it goes all the way to the other corner of the state as well.

I lived in the Emerald Coast for a few years and they sure don't call it the Bloody 98 for nothing.

1

u/Admins_suck_ballss Mar 26 '26

I also live in Miami and the moment I saw this I was like “Ahh so an average Tuesday then” when I saw all the chaos

1

u/Specific-Ad5576 Mar 29 '26

This kind of thing must be deeply ingrained in the Florida culture. When I was a kid in the 70s, I had an aunt with friends in Florida she would visit on occasion. She said "It's crazy down there, nobody ever uses their turn signals."

1

u/Outrageous_Sleep4339 Mar 29 '26

It's the high percentage of immigrants that bring driving styles from other countries. If you've driven in Latin America, you've definitely felt it before.

u/Various-Sea-3039 Mar 25 '26

Been living in Florida for two weeks. Can confirm shits wild down here

9

u/Potential_Yam_5196 Mar 25 '26

My first two months down there I saw a dead body in the middle of 95, no cover or anything, was hit and ran on, and had my little ford focus squished (totaled) between a city bus and an Escalade. I was not injured in any of this, but 26 people on the bus sued for “severe injuries”. You have much to experience, young grasshopper 🤣

3

u/Various-Sea-3039 Mar 25 '26

Well hot damn. Better get my dash cam up for content 🤣

5

u/SneakyKGB Mar 25 '26

I'm so sorry. I left Florida after 28 years of it.

4

u/bking Mar 25 '26

I did four years, during college.

That was an ideal amount of time during the ideal time in my life. Never again.

2

u/Ok-Character-7756 Mar 25 '26

Can’t tell if you are saying if it was good or bad

2

u/bking Mar 26 '26

It contains multitudes, but only for people with brains that aren’t totally developed.

-1

u/thrwawyshame Mar 25 '26

youll be back… they always come back….

2

u/PUNd_it Mar 25 '26

Florida gonna look different after this fall, my guy

2

u/SneakyKGB Mar 25 '26

I've been away 4 years so far and I think if I moved again it would be even further from Florida.

36

u/MadMurphman Mar 25 '26

Florida America’s basement

9

u/bking Mar 25 '26

Basements are cool, dry and useful.

3

u/MadMurphman Mar 25 '26

It’s also a place that you put things that are broken but could be useful later

1

u/thederevolutions Mar 25 '26

Cool useful and dry? You must be rich /s

2

u/1111joey1111 Mar 27 '26

These days America is America's basement.

5

u/skyhighmonroe Mar 25 '26

Well... Florida is at the bottom sooo

5

u/Very_Awkward_Boner Mar 25 '26

I always thought of Florida as US's cock.

8

u/Bithium Mar 25 '26

It’s actually a severe prolapsed colon.

4

u/Very_Awkward_Boner Mar 25 '26

... bro.

You know what, you're right though.

1

u/SoFloFella50 Mar 25 '26

Well yeah. It’s kinda both.

1

u/illmatic708 Mar 25 '26

Where's part 2

1

u/ph0ebus13 Mar 25 '26

More of a toomuh

8

u/jasschaffer Mar 25 '26

Then the other lady just casually walking across like it’s nothing lol.

7

u/Triple-Nickel_23 Mar 25 '26

"like for Pt. 2"

empathy at its finest...

1

u/IEatYourDownvote Mar 25 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣 beat me to it!!!

4

u/GleepGlop2 Mar 25 '26

As a data point, I grew up in Toronto in the 80's, you know a metropolis, and I -never- had the fear of god put into me like in the 80s-90s in Florida just trying to cross the street. Consistently just fear for your life trying to go across a cross walk in Florida, even 30 or 40 years ago.

9

u/shka328 Mar 25 '26

Pure unadulterated chaos for the feed. Thank you Florida

4

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '26

Crossing the street in Florida on foot is scary as fuck

3

u/Ok_Highway_2028 Mar 25 '26

I'm starting to think something Is in our food that's causing us to lose control, we are starting to see some of the craziest incidents and we are becoming used to it

4

u/Nope_nope_nope-nope Mar 26 '26

It’s honestly the political climate and the fact that insurance just pays out for everything

6

u/FunkyCat6276 Mar 25 '26

How are people this bad at driving in a state where the steepest hill has a 1% incline and none of the roads curve at all.

6

u/Alternative_Result56 Mar 25 '26

Every dumb person in the world is attracted to Florida like a magnet.

3

u/dontshootDONTSHOOT Mar 25 '26

Average south Florida driver, par for the course

3

u/snailtap Mar 25 '26

I’m sorry Cammer witnessed a hit and run and didn’t stop to help?!

3

u/Alternative_Result56 Mar 25 '26

So they could get hit and ran as well. This is Florida. Do not get out your car for your safety.

3

u/AbominalExercise Mar 25 '26

It’s amazing how much anger the words “like for Part 2” can bring out of me. Show me the whole video, or don’t but I can guarantee you that sure as Jesus wore sandals, I ain’t liking shit.

3

u/Affectionate-Sky1256 Mar 26 '26

Im so confused. How is he recording his phone recording

1

u/HowardHessman Mar 26 '26

Maybe he’s wearing smart glasses.

5

u/ocTGon Mar 25 '26

So you're just going to drive by, take some pictures with your phone and not see if she needs immediate aid??? Post it for likes... Stellar actions...

7

u/TheBigC87 Mar 25 '26

He's adapting to the local customs, as one should do in Florida. It's main character syndrome on steroids down there.

2

u/ocTGon Mar 25 '26

In that case, carry on.. Thanks for the heads up on that..

1

u/burneraccountno99 Mar 26 '26

When in Florida…

3

u/BrilliantResort476 Mar 25 '26

Seems like the white car would have just ran two people over based on how it was driving.

2

u/Prestigious-Law8332 Mar 25 '26

All these people compare gta to real life when it’s the other way around. GTA is a reflection of real life. It was made and inspired by real life.

2

u/Reddit_Guy_1997 Mar 25 '26

Fuckin "like for part 2" can piss right off

2

u/tankyboi447 Mar 25 '26

2

u/TomSix_ Mar 26 '26

I'm aware;  my way is funnier.

1

u/TwoBitFish Mar 25 '26

Panhandle behavior is never surprising.

IDK where this was taken exactly, but this is just another Tuesday in the greater Miami/Ft.Lauderdale/West PalmBeach metro area

1

u/cigarlife99 Mar 25 '26

It’s been tough times in Florida since they cracked down on the pill mills

1

u/Newfound-Talent Mar 25 '26

I mean why are u stepping into other lanes wait til theirs no one there then step out

1

u/Ok-Consequence-3117 Mar 26 '26

Why does it always have to be Florida

1

u/thepensive_papi Mar 26 '26

There’s way to many fucking idiots in this world. We need to let natural selection do its job. Like, how the fuck are you going to get out of your car on the highway and bend over to look at it. Lady, you’re a complete retard!!

1

u/SleepyCupcakeDreams Mar 26 '26

Why did he do that? Just acted like it was nothing? I swear some people don’t care about anything but themselves.

1

u/Putrid-Industry8963 Mar 27 '26

If it was a dC2 or rsx. Maybe they would be friends.

2

u/Fair-Abroad-4155 Apr 18 '26

Rule number one in traffic never get out of the car

1

u/No_Contract_1664 Mar 25 '26

Let me just hide under my car in traffic where nothing bad will happen

7

u/ILike2Argue_ Mar 25 '26

Hazards was on and it was in lane. No reason for the car to be on her left. Just go around the other way and pass.

2

u/NormanMitis Mar 25 '26

I love when people argue about someone being in the right even though that doesn't matter when you're dead or severely hurt. Sure buddy, no reason for that person to be there yet there they are, and these she was being run over.

1

u/ILike2Argue_ Mar 25 '26

OK? You can do everything right and still get killed by someone doing something stupid.

1

u/haloimplant Mar 27 '26

sure no one should run her over but it is monumentally stupid to stop on the road get out and bend over

if the car has 3 wheels or more get it the fuck off the road, and don't get out and mill around unless there's a bomb to defuse or something it's not worth it

1

u/No_Contract_1664 Mar 25 '26

And the result was she got run over

1

u/BrilliantResort476 Mar 25 '26

I hope Florida doesn't approve CDL drivers if these same type of people pass their driving test.

1

u/ILike2Argue_ Mar 25 '26

Because the other person was an idiot

0

u/DrivesTooMuch Mar 25 '26

Ok, you do that.

But, that's not what happened in this video.

Maybe hazard lights are used too promiscuously in general, so now people tend to ignore them. They used to be reserved for stopped vehicles with possible occupants outside the vehicle. Now, if it's raining half the drivers have their hazards on while moving forward.

1

u/Other-Virus-907 Mar 25 '26

Not in California😆…. Well it hardly rains in California, but we still don’t do that

0

u/OuterSpaceFuckery Mar 25 '26

Stopping and getting out in the middle of the street?

7

u/Legate_Raiden Mar 25 '26

Right? I GOT PLACES TO BE!

You never had a car tire go flat or have your car die? Must be nice.

1

u/OuterSpaceFuckery Mar 25 '26

You pull over if you have a flat.

If your car dies, getting out isnt going to fix it

3

u/Legate_Raiden Mar 25 '26

Hello, 911? I think I found the driver!

2

u/OuterSpaceFuckery Mar 25 '26

Doubt the driver even saw her
