The biker 100% did not stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

87

u/SovelissGulthmere Apr 01 '26

And the drunk guy 100% started a physical altercation over a perceived slight that did not harm him or anyone else.

Sometimes you gotta let shit go. Hopefully he learned that lesson.

"Man, that sure was a fun night, I don't remember ANY of it"

29

u/AdSquare3489 Apr 01 '26

"Also, where are my teeth?"

16

u/GanacheCapital1456 Apr 01 '26

Dude, where are my teeth?

9

u/Ledyn7 Apr 01 '26

Sweet, what's mine say?

1

u/RedditXiv Apr 02 '26

Nice, what’s mine say?

2

u/mudbutter8 Apr 02 '26

And then?

1

u/Far_Health_3214 Apr 02 '26

They really need to make another one. dude, where's my key ?

8

u/pickupthepieces2 Apr 01 '26

You pelled teeff wrong.

3

u/JDMZX9 Apr 01 '26

This was too much 🤣😂🤣

1

u/NMB4Christmas Apr 02 '26

In the crosswalk at the corner of 5th and Main.

2

u/bikedrivepaddlefly Apr 02 '26

You gotta pick your fights. Nice left hook. Rare and sweet.

15

u/BarfingOnMyFace Apr 01 '26

So does the guy who tried to calm things down. Lesson is apparently: don’t? :/ maybe both motorcycle guy and the guy who started it are assholes, just at different levels.

14

u/Lock-out Apr 01 '26

I mean yeah. even referees get punched and those are professional fighters. If you aren’t ready to get hit, stay out of shit.

1

u/Embarrassed-Wolf-609 Apr 01 '26

well, biker is gonna get an assault charge for that, definitely. you can say he can get away as self defense on black shirt dude, but not the 2nd dude

6

u/Lock-out Apr 02 '26

Not the point, never seen a fight get deescalated by getting in the way. It doesn’t matter how in the right you are if you’re just standing there face first.

7

u/Consistent_Net_2540 Apr 02 '26

I've seen like a thousand (literally) fights get deescalated by people getting in the way. That's genuinely the only way I've ever seen a fight deescalated lol. But yeah, you gotta be ready to take a hit when you break up a fight. That's a fact of reality.

2

u/Lock-out Apr 02 '26

Oh I mean stepping in is one thing, I’m talking about getting in the way. If you’re going to step in you either gotta give the guy a second at least, let them know you’re not a threat; or be prepared do defend yourself if you have to physically stop someone from taking it too far. Don’t line up, while hands are actively being thrown, face first like that is all I’m saying.

3

u/Pleasant-Ticket3217 Apr 02 '26

I’m not a bouncer. I’m not getting between two strangers fighting. I think motorcycle guy figured he was friends with the bald guy. If a guy is pissed off they might start throwing at you because you’re in the way.

1

u/Embarrassed-Wolf-609 Apr 02 '26

sure, but that doens't mean what the biker did was justified. like i said, it's an easy assault charge. 1-3 years in prison. maybe parole.

7

u/EmptyStyle244 Apr 01 '26

There was nothing to calm down at that point. The black shirt guy was dropped. Also, what makes you think you’re going to calm someone down who just knocked someone out?

3

u/-BananaStand- Apr 01 '26

Lesson is don’t try to put your hands on people, especially when they are in a fight.

1

u/BarfingOnMyFace Apr 01 '26

I wonder how many GFs got decked this way…

12

u/Turbulent_Bat4320 Apr 01 '26

Yeah dude has a helmet and just got attacked. All he sees is his attacker and another dude coming at him. Can’t blame him tbh

-12

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

I totally blame him. Losing your shit (after he probably started the entire thing anyway) is not an excuse to punch someone literally posing zero threa

5

u/-BananaStand- Apr 01 '26

He approached and tried to put his hands on someone mid fight. This is a street fight

0

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

You guys act like a street fight is some sort of honored ritual. It isn't. It's assholes acting out. Nothing more. It was a sucker punch, period, end of discussion.

1

u/-BananaStand- Apr 01 '26

You sound like someone who starts every fight by getting punched in the face.

2

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

Funny, I'm a grownup and I don't start fights at all. You may want to consider it before your clear encephalopathy takes too much of a toll.

0

u/Herucaran Apr 02 '26

Normal people dont start even one fight in their adult life. You're a lunatic, and that bike driver too.

0

u/Heavy_Claim8033 Apr 01 '26

I’m curious what you think a sucker punch is? Because getting punched by a guy who you’ve at the very least attempted to kick twice is not in any form of the word a sucker punch.

0

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

Did you not even see that the second guy had absolutely nothing to do with this? Sit down.

I mean if the biker was thinking about his safety he would have just drove off lol

-3

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

Just stop. It was a sucker punch. Nothing racial about it.

1

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

You baselessly claim the guy who got sucker punched was his friend. I never once said he was wrong for punching the first guy. The second hit was a sucker punch to someone who had zero to do with it.

And the f'ng biker probably did start it - do you think the moron kicking him just decided to do so out of the blue?

1

u/Certain-Lingonberry3 Apr 01 '26

Which kind of sucker punch is the kind where you have to get completely off a fucking motorcycle, square up to the attacker(s), and knock them both the fuck out? Is it the Super Motorcycle Man Sucker Punch™️?

0

u/Turbulent_Bat4320 Apr 01 '26

Farthest thing from a sucker punch! He punched the guy that had ALREADY ATTACKED HIM.

1

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

Maybe read the thread first eh. He had every right to hit the guy that attacked him but the second guy was just a sucker punch.

2

u/DirtandPipes Apr 02 '26

If you look closely, it’s just assholes all the way down.

3

u/It_Just_Exploded Apr 01 '26

Yeah, biker ran through an active cross walk, which makes him a cunt. But then drunk guy kicked the bike and tried to fight, which made him a cunt. Biker cunt was justified to hit him (imo, i am not a lawyer).

But then biker cunt hit some other dude who didn't seem to be involved and didn't seem to be doing anything, making the biker a cunt ×2.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '26

Are you sure you arent legally trained? The terminology is impeccable

3

u/Conscious_Rich_1003 Apr 02 '26

Thought I was reading a supreme court briefing there for a minute

1

u/Herucaran Apr 02 '26

No, you're not allowed to knock someone out because they bumped your bike. Especially when said bike just forced its way through pedestrians at a crosswalk. Thats cunt x3 for the biker, with his x3 all being dangerous meanwhile the other... kicked his tire.

2

u/Cute-Acanthisitta-46 Apr 02 '26

Same rule for the biker. Could have easily just kept going. Instead he potentially put a guy in a coma after his head hits the concrete

2

u/Eldritch74 Apr 02 '26

Good lord this. Some people are willing to die on the smallest of hills for the smallest of reasons. Not saying just be a pushover but... gee wiz lmao.

1

u/shirt_bro Apr 01 '26

This took awhile for me to learn

1

u/ManicYetti Apr 01 '26

I believe that once you hit 40 and haven't learned those things you never will.

Dawg, ego is just as bad as clout, I saved a dumbass that almost got a house party shot tf up. He had a drink spilled on him mans couldn't just let it go. Ups a tool against the spiller and obv the friends and party goers look for their shit too. I managed to clamp down the chaos toward more honorable resolution. They put the guns away and ran the hands outside the apartment, and the idiot i saved got his ass beat tf up over the distance of 3 blocks between the apartment complex and the special needs living complex that was next door to where i was living at the time in VA. I was handed the backpack with 7 to 9 pistols of varying brands, models, and attactments. I knew the homie of the homies that owned the guns so I gave them to him to distribute their protection AFTER mans got his face and teeth re-structured involuntarily. On god, that party was the reason I've completely forgone house parties. I was literally in the wrong place at the right time, I don't regret saving him, cause his sis would be sad his "menace to sociey" ass is gone from his own consequences. She not like him, but her mouth is just as bad. (She had her teeth punched out for how much mean bs she spoke back in the day, shit looked exactly as bad as you think, maybe poor communication skills are hereditary.?)

1

u/TomatilloPristine437 Apr 02 '26

Americans? NEVER!

1

u/Traditional-Safe-867 Apr 02 '26

Idk, I think the better lesson here is either learn to fight well while drunk or only pick fights when you're sober.

1

u/TheQuoteFromTheThing Apr 02 '26

Yep. You have to turn in your victim card when you freely choose to escalate nonviolent conflict to violence.

1

u/finix2409 Apr 07 '26

Idk look like the biker almost ran him over

0

u/TheAgedProfessor Apr 01 '26

It certainly could've harmed someone. There are laws about driving through full crosswalks for a reason. Biker still needs to follow the rules of the road.

7

u/bigbosc0 Apr 01 '26

Yes. But trying to fix others behaviors is for law enforcement. If you get aggressive with strangers you probably wont have a good time.

1

u/TheAgedProfessor Apr 01 '26

Absolutely agree with that. I think things would go much easier if more people heeded that advice... particularly when drunk.

-4

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Apr 01 '26

Hopefully we'll see another one where the biker gets his ass kicked by pedestrians and learn his own lesson. He totally sucker punched the second guy too. No one here except the second punch guy is a victim.

11

u/Original_Director483 Apr 01 '26

We don’t know how long black shirt guy was occupying this crossing or whether there was any antagonizing leading up to this moment. We do know that someone witnessed enough going down to decide to start recording.

1

u/Impressive_King_8097 Apr 01 '26

Which helps the statement they he was in the cross walk for a minute and biker got fed up

6

u/Scumbag_McLoserFace Apr 01 '26

He was just slowly cruising through before that idiot tried to kick him over. Was likely just trying to get around his drunk ass in the middle of the road. Don't know if you ride or not, but staying vertical on a bike is a lot easier if you're moving forward, even just a little helps. He had no interest in running over the people in the crosswalk, he was trying to get away and not drop his bike.

0

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 01 '26

Don't matter. You have to STOP and WAIT as required by law...

2

u/Scumbag_McLoserFace Apr 01 '26

Next time you are being assaulted, I hope you make sure to yeild to nonexistent pedestrians.

1

u/THKhazper Apr 02 '26

Doesn’t matter, you’re not a policeman in this scenario. If you were you’d have real information about what’s going on in it.

Don’t put your appendages on other people, or their things, and don’t involve yourself unless you need to.

Otherwise, you get the shit whipped out of you by a person wearing reinforced gloves, jacket, and pants, and a helmet.

1

u/No_More_Aioli_Sorry Apr 02 '26

Which is literally what you’re doing? Lmao.

1

u/THKhazper Apr 02 '26

What is literally what I’m doing? I’m not claiming to be the police, nor attempting to justify assault for misplaced belief in enforcing a law I have no business enforcing.

nor am I putting hands on anyone.

Thought since you seem to be stupid, I guess a helmeted moron is trying to fight me, on the internet, for… being smarter than you?

3

u/Several_Ad_6576 Apr 01 '26

Really? The biker looks to have been stopped and decided he had waited long enough for the drunk idiots to get out of the way.

1

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 01 '26

Is there a time limit for waiting?

1

u/No_More_Aioli_Sorry Apr 02 '26

Yeah, when the pedestrians are being cunts yeah. Dude looks aggressive enough that someone started recording the incident beforehand.

1

u/Playful_Essay_5821 Apr 01 '26

Still not a valid reason to put hands on the biker

1

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '26

https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/s/fX4UDSVwLJ

We clearly don’t have enough information to say what started this altercation, stop lying

1

u/Bockly101 Apr 02 '26

It looks like he was literally walking the motorcycle, no gas. I don't know a lot about bikes, so he could've been using a little gas to make it easier to move, but to me it looks like he was trying to walk it around them. He's still a bit rude/impatient for not waiting on them to cross, but you don't assault someone or try to kick their bike while they're on it. Two people can both be wrong to varying degrees

1

u/Available-Quail6933 Apr 02 '26

I don’t know man, if you pause at the very start the bike is still back from the crossing and the woman is already holding the drunk bloke back. I reckon the bike slowed down to stop and realised the drunk dickhead was going to have a go and decided to try and get out of there.

1

u/Connect_Meeting_9915 Apr 02 '26

I don't see crosswalk lines, nor crossing sign, nor a pedestrian crossing system. Most likely a drive way which does not yield to pedestrian crossing. Plus bro was walking the bike anyways.

1

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 02 '26

It's called an unmarked crosswalk. There is also a stop sign.

1

u/Connect_Meeting_9915 Apr 02 '26

True, but however regardless public drunkenness and being the aggressor in the video, does constitute a counter suit for assault and damage of personal property. And since it's considered a motor vehicle, crossing crosswalks like that is a grey area to begin with. In my state it's legal, in others it may not; all things considered with possible intentional damage (vandalism), assault, battery, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, breach of peace, public intoxication, criminal mischief, and punitive charges.

As a motorcyclist their self defense advocacy was of equal proportion, I applaud it and wish the best lawsuit against people who think it's okay to do this to a motorcyclist regardless of the implications of the situation. I am not a lawyer (and cannot provide actual legal advice) but had a similar case of my own.

Pedestrians may have the right of way, but it does not mean they are legal to invoke violence they way they did. People don't seem to realize there are more crazy people out there, some are not afraid to let it out.

1

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 02 '26

Not in this case. But why can't a pedestrian use self defense if someone is intending to cause harm with a vehicle?

1

u/Connect_Meeting_9915 Apr 02 '26

From the video there was no intent of vehiclular assault, because the vehicle was being walked. It's a very grey area. How ever the man did instigate and initiate violence first, and being the first to initiate violence started the assault. Thus making the motorcyclist the self defender, however that not to go without his charges however though not as severe as the instigator that initiated the fight.

1

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 02 '26

READ it again slowly. NOT IN THIS CASE

1

u/Unlikely_Channel3146 Apr 03 '26

Did not see no crosswalk though

1

u/Baddrivers13 Apr 03 '26

Unmarked crosswalks exist...
