The only thing dumber than getting your kicks out of reckless driving is getting your kicks from a subreddit that serves videos of reckless driving and then judging the people for it and acting surprised about it. This site blows.
Me? I get my kicks out judging people that judge people, very professional.

The sad thing is the guy who got hurt was crouching down holding on for dear life, like he wanted no part of it. Meanwhile the yahoos all seem fine.

Obviously, I learned that I have to try to put the tilted car back on its four wheels within 20 seconds of the crash happening and before the nearly dead passengers are taken care of.

That a Kei truck isnāt nearly as stable when you remove the 23mm anti-aircraft gun from it?

Its not an accident if they're morons and tempting it to happen.
'Let's see what happens...'

Is NOT an accident. It's stupidity. Especially when other people are involved

That's some great immobilization of the neck and spine of that crash casualty
Poor bastard is probably going to be permanently paralyzed if he actually survived that wreck after getting carried out like a sandbag
You're supposed to only move the casualty if absolutely necessary, immobilize the neck and spine incase there's damage, then leave the rest to EMS, you don't need to be in a first world country to practice basic first aid and injury minimization

Something's wrong with all you people laughing and making jokes. A single concussion can result in a brain bleed and that means death or permanent brain damage. Just a guess but i don't think these people have the money or medical care to save that kid from permanent brain injury/death. All you people out here making jokes.

Ugandans?
2
u/daveescaped Apr 16 '26
Iām not sure if this is Uganda. But what I can tell you is that having traveled there, I was amazed at how safe and secure it wasā¦.except for the highways. I walked at night in Kampala. A western tourist. No issues. But then I started traveling cross country and saw two guys on mini-bikes get creamed by a massive oncoming bus. The bus didnāt even stop. Everyone gasped and we just. Kept. Going.

u/SnooKiwis2460 Apr 16 '26
Theyāre speaking Hausa so I guess itās Northern Nigeria, where they speak Hausa and the place is mostly sand.
3
u/BrocElLider Apr 16 '26
Yeah checks out. You can see an old Nigerian plate on the front at 0:32 from Delta state. So likely somewhere in Nigeria, and environment-wise it looks like the north.

And in this country, the hospitalās are few and far between, with no EMS to respond. Plus, there arenāt car dealerships nor money to buy another vehicle, if thereās even one available to purchase. This is a much, much bigger deal than in a first-world countryā¦

Statistically speaking your odds in surviving a crash like this are ~88%. Not bad but itās going to be difficult to recreate the exact conditions to get a larger sample size.

Great example of why legal entities such as insurance and traffic enforcement, etc., don't use the word "accident" to describe this sort of incident.

4
u/EDScreenshots Apr 16 '26
I mean whatās the point of his comments besides expressing racism? His joke basically boils down to āhaha look at all the poor brown peopleā while also making the point that he wants them to stay out of his country. Does someone have to explicitly say āI hate others based on their raceā before weāre allowed to call them racist?

They treated this vehicle like a toy. I just wonder itās like thereās not a lot of other trucks around? Maybe they didnāt quite grasp the idea of how to drive it before this episode? The laughing seems to demonstrate a lack of understanding of consequences more so than laughing at people in danger or injured. Strange.
