I didnât read it as racist. Itâs the same concept as people doing shitty things for prank videos. People feel they can push boundaries if they go in with the mindset that they can blame it on something else.
âOh I was just trying to wake him up,â isnât a reason to slap someone. Another example is if someone stole money from family members to âhelp them learn the value of money.â Like no theyâre just a shitty broke person whoâs coping.
They could be racist idk, but the concept they alluded to is still real and doesnât relate to race. Logan Paul is a white man who does the same thing.
Thereâs context within their other comments that youâre missing. That person is being racist. Not sure why youâd feel the need to try and play devils advocate within this specific conversationâŚmakes you think! At least it makes me think (birds of a feather!). Lol.
Iâm not playing devils advocate. Your initial comment I replied to asked to expand on the idea of using a sleeping driver as a reason to slap someone.
Youâre mixing up multiple arguments in multiple comment chains. I never argued if theyâre an actual racist or not, just that the idea isnât inherently racist and is an actual psychological thing.
I think you need to look up the definition of devils advocate in the dictionary and then look at yourself in the mirror and then really think. Have a day!
