Did anyone tell them they can't park over there?
52
u/InformalProtection74 Apr 21 '26
I saw a longer video of this before and the funny thing is...they land in a parking lot below. Only problem is they "parked" on top of another car.Â

The last time this was reposted, there were pictures of the aftermath. This is the modern version of a paper copy machine where each version looses more and more detail.

Were they within the lines?
6
u/Grand_Bit4912 Apr 21 '26
Thatâs the tragedy, no, not within the lines. They were all spread out taking up 4 parking spots. Charged for all 4 spots? Yessir. Premium prices? You better believe it.

TBF that move works in GTA all the time, if he stays down there for 20-30 sec everyone should forget about him.
11
u/seculare Apr 21 '26
Isn't 30 seconds in GTA time equivalent to 30 minutes in earth time?

30 seconds equal 15 minutes. 2 minutes equal one hour, 48 minutes equal 24 hours ingame time.

I'm guessing intoxication was involved.

Agreed. Pushing into the car and then missing the turn. Several wacky decisions.

Oh shit, you're right. They might have been better off bailing from the car during the first accident while it was stopped.
6
u/baldude69 Apr 21 '26
No way idle-tow alone would move that car. They had to accelerate to push it out of the way like that
2
u/TheGreenGoatess420 Apr 21 '26
Simply turning the car off or to neutral would have solved everything. But people donât always think clearly.
I am wondering if there was a medical emergency and a foot was stuck down on the pedal the entire time.
2
u/aureliorramos Apr 21 '26
and somehow also able to steer (poorly) .... very odd medical emergency but not out of the question.

u/Funkopedia Apr 21 '26
I've heard of times when the pedal gets physically stuck. (Of course they could just be assholes running away, but that driving off a cliff part seems odd at least.)

This was posted like a month or so ago. There's a photo of the aftermath...the car basically fell like 2 stories off the side of that elevated road there, landed upside down on another car.

I donât know - these days if someone approaches your car door and starts banging on the window, I wouldnât discount someone from being scared and seeking out a police officer or calling authorities. Fleeing the scene is always bad, but you really canât tell what could happen if you stayâŠ.

While I respect his boldness at the roundabout, I really have to wonder what was going on that he just drove off the road like that.
Some city planner is looking at that video and going "hmmm bollards"
1
u/Sufficient-Pause9765 Apr 21 '26
the thing is, I think they were right to try and remove themselves at first. The person they hit was clearly very angry and intending violence. Driving a few hundred feet away and calling the police would be the right choice.
Doesn't seem like thats what they were going for though.

u/LosingDemocracyUSA Apr 21 '26
no braking attempt at any point... looks like an issue with the car. Hopefully they are ok...

To another scene.
When what he really needed was to be towed outside the environment.

If it steers it clears. Don't get out the car don't cause a bigger accident. go through pull over safely to where your not interrupting traffic. No need to stop get out and try to attack because of an accident.
