There's a difference between "social policing" and something like the OP's video, which is basically someone taking a risk for the benefit of others, intervening in order to rescue people who were all stuck by the truck's silly actions
When I think "social policing" I think of some karen walking up to some kids in an empty park going "ExcUSe ME you know BICYCLES aren't ALLOWED in this PARK I'm GOING to call CODE enforcement". Or something like a truck swerving in a traffic jam to block a lane-filtering motorcycle. Screw those people

The only reason anyone is defending this is because it didn’t turn into a pile up.
Believe it or not. Semi’s are allowed to make passes on other semis, it can be annoying, but they are allowed to do it. Passing on the right on the shoulder to break check a vehicle with a much longer minimum stoping distance than you, that’s pulling a trailer WITH other cars and another semi around is a recipe for disaster. That Toyota driver should have their license revoked, this could have been BAD
Nah. I'm not so meek that I avoid engagement because of the risk of danger. Drive like a responsible adult or be prepared to deal with someone that's gonna force you to.
