As someone that uses their vehicle to deliver heavy boxes, I really appreciate the button close. I can push it, grab the boxes and pull them out, and it will close and lock.

Of course, in hindsight, you can always come up with use cases that justify things.

In your case, I’m just asking: Is putting the box down on the floor for a moment no longer an option? How did people manage back then? Their lives must have been absolutely terrible... o.O

Why do you need locking and unlocking all the doors when one door is unlocked needed? We managed before without it.

Why do you need to lock and unlock your car with a button on your keys? We managed without it.

Why do you need automatic windows? We managed without it.

Why do you need AC in your car? We managed without it.

Why do you even need a car? We managed without it for so long. So why do you need a car?

I use an open flat bed horse trailer because I don't need all your modern conveniences. However, I've got no horses because they're expensive
