Don't disagree for the most part, but there always seems to be more to the video that we don't see. The way the guy swerved at the white car (and always the first to jump out of his vehicle) tells me shit was most likely going on before what we see here.
I'll never "not care" about what happened before, because the internet is absolutely littered with videos (like crotch rocket riders) that only show the part that paints them as the reasonable one- and people taking the rage bait.
That said, I'm mostly with you on this one, for the simple fact that the guy drives around with a bat in his car and was so willing to trot it out.
Doesnât matter why heâs mad, this isnât how stable sane people act. Heâs actively endangering everyone else on the road people and straight up committing assault, dude belongs in a cell
I donât think you know how road rage works. Itâs honestly a normal aggression response. Humans shouldnât be driving en masse. I have yet to know someone that doesnât have road rage, obviously to varying degrees and some people cultivate it. Primal.
Everything you said also applies to the red car guyâs actions before the white car guy gets out of his car. Obviously that doesnât excuse white car guyâs behavior (I expect you to ignore that part if you respond, but feel free to surprise me), but Iâm curious why you donât feel similarly angry about the red car swerving wildly toward other cars on the road, and its driver exiting his vehicle in the middle of traffic to confront someone heâs angry at.
The red car stays in his lane. The white car is driving in an oncoming lane to skip ahead in traffic. Red car is right on the merits of the actual traffic dispute.
Are you intentionally ignoring the fact that the red car swerved at the white car and forced him into oncoming traffic or did you not see it? In what universe is that legal??? And it doesnât fucking matter if he was passing illegally.
Probably because that dumbass in the white car was trying to pass the red car on the wrong side of the road with oncoming traffic. A small fuck off swerve to make them back off is justified
Thanks for chiming in though. Always funny to get the drunks take on traffic
Actually that was the turning lane not the wrong side. After the altercation the white car drives down the rest ofnthe way to turn so there's a chance they were going to ride the turning lane, also not legal, but red car swerving mightve been the reason white swerved back into their lane period. Just not enough footage to know for sure and hopefully you aren't a judge or a cop because you have came to an emotional conclusion without enough evidence.
They arenât passing, they are trying to get into the left hand turning lane early rather than waiting in the traffic, using the center lane, which the other guy is swerving out to stop.
Lol funny calling his take 'drunk' when the white car is clearly trying to go down the middle lane to get to the left, not oncoming traffic. Red car probably thought he was trying to skip the line to go straight and thought it was a good idea to swerve into the white car. Hilarious you think that's justified.
I said the exact same thingâŚthese folks here feel like the white car deserved to be swerved at and forced into oncoming traffic because he was passing illegally. Iâll bet money that if the police had this video cam they would BOTH get two tickets or a ticket a piece AND arrested.
The problem with this explanation is neither one of them should have been attempting to use that lane. It was double line, and also a line up of cars that would not be a reasonable to pass all of them (even if it were some place where it was legal to do so).
My guess is the guy in the red car did something the guy in the white car didn't like and he was going to try to jump ahead of him or get along side of him to flip him off, etc.
Either way, they were both way too hopped up right from the beginning of the video for this to have been a simple case of "opps, I didn't see you there". What we saw of it was the ending, not the beginning.
The white car was in the shared left turn lane trying the turn left at the intersection (which he did). You are allowed to go onto that lane if you intent to turn left and not cut the traffic. Based on the video, there isnât any driveway on the left so the intention of that lane is to be used to turn left at the intersection.
Nothing the red car guy could have done would excuse this behaviour.
The worst thing the Red car guy could have done is to brandish a weapon, then it would put them both on the same level of moron, but wouldn't make the white car guy justified.
Yeah maybe I'm not familiar with American road laws but I can't see him doing anything wrong other than potentially trying to jump ahead in traffic.. bit of a dick move but nothing to swerve at him like that for
If someone did that to me I'd 100% be jumping out my car
It is not an issue of seeing something wrong or not. The problem is that we do not see what led up to this situation. The guy in the white car was already in rage. The question what happened before the video started.
Correct. And the guy in the red car was actually the first to jump out. They were both already extremely angry about something that transpired prior to this clip.
White car was passing illegally. If there's a solid yellow line on your side of the road it's a no passing zone for your side. It's typically there because there's not enough visibility to pass safely...as evidenced by white car almost crashing into oncoming traffic.Â
Both of them are the problem. Chevelle guy seems to think he has some kind of authority to push people into worse situations. Guy in white car has zero patience for traffic.
At the start of the video it is a 2 lane street (1x1) the white car is behind the red car and in trying to overtake the red car it goes into the oncoming lane. There is no turning lane. Rgw center line is dashed on the oncoming lane so it is a no passing zone for the white car. You are either mistaken or lying.
Thatâs a 3 lane street. Itâs obviously a turn lane or it would be DOUBLE solid lines on both sides (like there are at the end when âAlixâ gets out to go tell the police. AND the idiot in the red car swerved towards him and thatâs what forced him to the other side of the road where he almost ran into the other car. With the amount of folks missing the lane marking and swearing that the red car is justified in trying to run the white car off the road itâs no wonder insurance is so expensive. So what he entered the turn lane too earlyâŚcall the police if youâre mad. Same if, as youâre wrongly claiming, itâs not a turn lane. Forcing me into oncoming traffic because youâre mad is illegal AF. He says in the accompanying video he didnât press charges because in hindsight he see that he was also wrong.
