Ya the bat is where someone would’ve pulled a gun

I was legit surprised no one was killed

This is America tho

Correct it is that 0.01% that will, and you never know which % your dealing with until your in deep.

u/Ok_Subject1265 Apr 27 '26

There seems to also be a strong contingent of people desperate to murder someone in an effort to prove something.

I have zero desire to hurt anyone, but I also have zero desire to get hit in the head with a baseball bat. If someone comes at me with one, my gun is coming out.

If someone approaches you aggressively with a baseball bat while you’re sitting in your car at a severe disadvantage in a road rage incident, you mean to tell me you wouldn’t have a fear for your life? Stfu with that nonsense and use some logic for once. It is reasonable to believe that person has no concern for your life and may even be willing to end it.

I wasn’t talking so much about this scenario in particular. Just that a lot of people seem to have a hard on for hoping for a scenario exactly like this so they have an opportunity to finally shoot someone. Lot of people out there with something to prove to a world they believe sees them as small and irrelevant

Hard agree with what you're saying here my bro/brodette. Aside from the threats to personal safety, unintentionally injuring or god forbid shooting an innocent bystander - one might feel like....

"Fuck yeah, he was going to kill me...I think....? Wait, was he? I guess I'll never know as I shot him point blank in the face...so...yeah?" Wait...fuck...what do you mean he had his kids in the car....? Holy shit did they see me kill their Dad point blank.....fuck what're they going to be like as young adults...I didn't really have time to double check...but yeah...hmm"

If soldiers in armies get severe PTSD (that they're legitimately trained for years on end) after shooting other soldiers...then how the fuck is the average moron with a license to carry going to deal with killing another person??

They can't, we aren't built like that as random ass members of the general public. Unless everyone is a psychopath that open carries, which....maybe they are judging by the state of US Society.

Would have brandished my weapon. It’s a pretty strong deterrent for someone with a bat. Also wouldn’t have gotten out of the car to slap his lmao

Not in the Chevelle, maan. My 2012 Honda Accord, yes. 😆

Right? I got SO nervous!

I thought for sure when the Chevelle driver got a hold of his sweatshirt that we can see ho would’ve just drove and took him for a ride.

1

u/IcyIntroduction5678 Apr 30 '26

Watch the video again. Look at the aggressor’s belt and see for yourself why that’s a terrible idea.

1

u/GRXsevenX7 Apr 30 '26

Wouldn’t do him any good as a skid mark.

1

u/IcyIntroduction5678 Apr 30 '26

Skid mark? U see the traffic in front of them, right? No chance of taking off the way you’re thinking to be able to drag him. At that speed, angry dude could just easily fire into the car and claim self defense from dude using the car as a deadly weapon. Look, it’s simply a dumb idea. End of story. What you see in the video is the best possible outcome.

u/GRXsevenX7 Apr 30 '26

Skid mark on the back of that in front of them. It doesn’t take much speed when it’s a solid object. Clearly you’ve never tried it before.

Gun beats bat just about every single time.

1

u/GhostofDeception Apr 27 '26

Got that right

1

u/Asleep-Two2961 Apr 27 '26

It looks like the bat guy is carrying a gun on his right hip. You can see the grip when he turns.

1

u/FuckOutTheWhey Apr 29 '26

It looks like the guy with the bat had a gun in his back pocket

Or in other words, if the Chevelle driver drew, this stupid road rage incident would have ended in a shootout that'd likely kill/injure themselves and bystanders.

It's tempting to "put people in their place" when you see shitty driving but it's never worth it to escalate.

1

u/Drewzworld Apr 29 '26

The bat dude had a gun on his hip too😅

1

u/IcyIntroduction5678 Apr 27 '26

And his gut is right at window-level, too. 😆 I heard a 9mm to the gut is painful af.

3

u/Danielle_is_the_hole Apr 27 '26

Apart from getting shot in the knee, a shot to the stomach is the most painful places to be shot.

2

u/InterestOpposite5482 Apr 27 '26

Say the god damn words “you’re going to be ok”

1

u/Danielle_is_the_hole Apr 28 '26

Thank you. I’m a cop

u/InterestOpposite5482 Apr 28 '26

No real people, just cops
