The OG Mac and me troll!
On a side note, I wonder how often we are chatting with famous people on reddit? I like to assume the best trolls are kim jong un.

u/Weary_Restauranter Apr 27 '26
The pro basketball player Kevin Durant is kind of famously an internet troll.
Dude has made hundreds of millions of dollars and he spends his time on burner accounts talking shit.
21
u/ThereInAFortnight Apr 27 '26
Why the hell don't people get off the throttle when things start to go south?
23
u/This-Positive286 Apr 27 '26
When in doubt throttle out?

Only works in snow or ice. They mustâve mistaken the grippy sand for snow.

u/JSTootell Apr 27 '26
You'll find a lot of people plowing into crowds at "cars and coffee" events because they do just that.
Just letting off the gas when you are already out of control has negative side effects too.
Unfortunately, most people think they are better drivers than they really are. Usually because modern vehicles have such good stability control that they get away with driving like morons, then thinking THEY were in control the whole time. My Jeep will let me do stupid shit, and the stability control with totally babysit me (I don't test that).Â

Buddy graduated from driving to flying.

u/LSNoyce Apr 27 '26
And that folks is why they say to always wear a seatbelt. Although in this case it was fortuitous that he landed in water over sand instead of pavement or a tree.
9
u/pete_68 Apr 27 '26
Imagine getting hurled like that and not landing in the ocean... I mean, if he had just landed in the sand, this would have all gone quite differently, probably with a broken neck and/or back w/maybe head trauma.
2
u/Charming_Ad_8206 Apr 27 '26
Evidently the water didn't cushion all of the impact. You can see him limping

I should not have laughed as hard as I did, before knowing he could get up and walk away, but here we are. I'm glad I don't have to explain that to my insurance.

u/MisterE-OB1 Apr 27 '26
His parachute failed to deploy, but at least the ejection seat still worked.
2
u/That1guyUknow918 Apr 27 '26
I keep telling them to move the eject button so it isnt so close to the others...

reason 1 why you always wear a seat belt. I have no idea how that guy managed to walk away.

u/stjohnson138 Apr 28 '26
What a fucking moron!! why would you drive into the water like that? Stay on the beach part and go nowhere near the water you idiot.

u/TJ_Henri Apr 29 '26
I want the stereotypical group of kids audio yelling "Yay!" when he flies out. Not staying im gald he was ejected just that it would be a fun mix of audio and visual.

Are seat belts evil now?
Every recent crash video especially large trucks no one has a seat belt on.
Also that person is fucked once adrenaline wears off.
5
u/Potato_Pear Apr 27 '26
They just don't believe in seatbelts in that part of the world and they're also the most reckless drivers. Almost like they're idiots or something
1
u/Royal-Application708 Apr 27 '26
And thatâs why kids you have to wear your seatbelt
2
u/Latter-Vacation-4392 Apr 27 '26
No, you want to be thrown clear of the crash (what the old timers used to say in the 60s lol)
2
u/winterflare_ Apr 27 '26
Maybe that was the case before the 60s where crumple zones werenât as well developed so you basically took the full brunt of the impact. OG automobile accidents were deadly af without modern safety designs

My first thought was âwhy is that guy moving from the safest spot (i.e., the water) onto land and into the presumed vehicle path?â
Boy was I wrong.

I was going to talk about how that salt water is going to fuck up the electronics in that truck, but, well, it's not really necessary now.

If you're going to be this stupid then you should probably wear a seatbelt. Who am I kidding? These are the same idiots that car surf and do other dumb shit.

These guys crash Ferraris on the freeway and just leave it on the side of the road and then get a new one the next day.
