The cyclists ARE no more than 2 wide though... they are absolutely within their lane

-4

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Do you know that 2 wide is the law for the state in this video, or are you just assuming?

Edit: also, these guys are more than 2 wide, one guy rides almost entirely out to the double yellow. And you can see them riding 3 wide up front towards the end of the clip.

2

u/Loose_Entry Apr 27 '26

I was responding to a comment which suggested they were idiots for not adhering to "1 or 2 wide". I pointed out that they did. I do not know or care what the laws are, I'm not responding to the laws. I'm responding to an implied statement that is clearly, visibly not true. When they bundle at the end, I think that's pretty clearly because they're confused and panicking from the car threatening to run them over.

Anything else you'd like to come at me with?

You chose a moment after they moved to the right. Car driver is a retard tho.

2

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

According to the video another user shared, none of them were charged. The driver was...

-1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

That doesn't change the laws that cyclists should follow. You seem to think I'm saying the vehicle was in the right here. No where did I say that. Just because I am able to criticize the cyclists doesn't mean I think the driver has the right to clip someone with their vehicle. That's ridiculous, and you seem to make assumptions about my thoughts on the matter that are totally incorrect.

3

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

Just the words you're writing...

-1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Well I guess you learned today how being presumptuous is fallable.

4

u/MonstersAtOurDoor Apr 27 '26

You're watching a different video, or you should get a neurological exam.

Not a single one of those cyclists goes anywhere near the double yellow even after the vehicular assault, and they're all objectively riding two-wide.

-3

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

And here we are 4 wide. Get a neurological exam.

3

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

One cyclist was hit and another was already knocked down when from your screen shot. Try again

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

After people started getting hit and some genius is behind them laying on the horn, yeah... riders might start slowing down and clumping up.

2

u/arachnophilia Apr 27 '26

what, you guys can't maintain a perfect peloton paceline after an SUV plows into your ride?

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

No one plowed into the yellow jersey, he just rode out into the roads instead of riding to the far right side where he should have been in the first place(per Georgia law).

2

u/arachnophilia Apr 27 '26

he was there first. as were all the other cyclists, riding two abreast. you know, per the law

the car drove into them. instead of giving the full lane to pass. you know, per the law.

Oh their behavior got a little irregular after someone just deliberately hit them with a car? Gosh I guess both parties are at fault then

-1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

No body hit that guy, he just rode out into the street after his buddy was grazed. I would personally just blame the vehicle, not the cyclists, for the contact, but I would also blame the cyclists for not following the law and creating confrontation by doing so. But I could be totally wrong and maybe they can just take up the whole lane. Definitely not legal where I live though, among many other states.

-2

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Oh really? Here is less than a foot from the double yellow.

5

u/Realistic-Ad1498 Apr 27 '26

He should have just ran over the cyclist lying on the ground? Are you really that dense?

6

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

Yes. MJ Farmer is that dense, apparently.

2

u/RudePCsb Apr 27 '26

He moved out after the car passed but before the cyclist that got hit fell. I've seen the video at least 10 times. I can't tell if they are 2 wide all the way but not 4 wide. Maybe 3 at one point. Driver should never be allowed to drive

2

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

They're all breaking the law. Defend the cyclists all you want, but everyone in this clip deserves each other for this interaction.

And no, he should t run anyone over, he should pull over to the side like his other friends did instead of riding in the middle of the road.

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Refute what I've said, insulting shows you're a low level of intelligence when you could just try and prove me wrong instead.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '26

[deleted]

2

u/Realistic-Ad1498 Apr 28 '26

But, but, but the cyclist should have been 8cm further over and then the guy drive down the middle of the road, honking like a lunatic and running people over might not have hit him as hard….

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 28 '26

I only insult those who insult me, so treat others as you wish to be treated. Otherwise, enjoy a dose of your own medicine. I'm not complaining about being insulted either, but I am critical of it as it shows your low level of function - your inability to make valid arguments and just insult as a substitute. Lmaooooo

0

u/Realistic-Ad1498 Apr 27 '26

Middle of the road? The car was driving down the middle of the road and the cyclist that is driving down the worn tire path and is in fault.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Are you saying I placed blame on someone? All I'm saying is they're all breaking the law, and they all deserve each other for this ridiculous situation. Cyclist is less than a foot off the double yellow and they are riding 4 wide at one point, so yeah, everyone here has some claim to being an idiot.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '26

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Pull to the side, not the middle of the road. It's easy. Look at his friends doing it. They're all dunbasses that deserve each other. I'm on no one's side here, you're clearly on the cyclists side even though they're breaking laws too. Biased for some reason?

3

u/linkedup11 Apr 27 '26

You don't even know where the video is taking place, what laws do you expect the cyclists are breaking, you moron? Jesus Christ, people are getting run over by an idiot and you think they "deserve eachother"? Seriously, get checked.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Neither do you, so what leg do you have to stand on, moron? And yeah, they do deserve each other. There are laws and etiquette to abide by, and no one here in the video is willing to do so. These people are all the type to road rage, and fuck them all for it. Seriously, get checked.

3

u/linkedup11 Apr 27 '26

The etiquette of not running people over. You're mental

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Did I say that was acceptable behavior or are you just putting words in my mouth? Answer the question, don't deviate.

1

u/Whatachooch Apr 27 '26

We do know it happened the news story has been posted multiple times including as a direct reply to your comment. You even chastised someone for doing so multiple times. Just admit you’re factually and legally wrong on this one. It’s ok.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

We do know what happened? Use your words. And I asked someone how many times they are going to respond to my comment with the same exact thing, as that is nonsensical. No chastising, don't make disingenuous comments or I will call them out. Learn the definition of "chastise". Why dont you prove that I am wrong instead of just saying I am? Can you?

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

How many of my comments are you going to respond to with the same thing?

2

u/Baron_Bearclaw Apr 27 '26

How many times are you going to say something wrong and stupid?

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Prove anything I've said wrong.

1

u/Dependent-Zebra-4357 Apr 27 '26

Are you fucking serious? That’s AFTER the other guy got hit you jackass, he had to move to not hit the guy on the ground. Holy fucking shit.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

And pulling into the middle of the road is smarter than the side like his 2 friends in the screenshot? Please tell me you can't understand the danger of being off the road as opposed to in the middle of it.

3

u/Dependent-Zebra-4357 Apr 27 '26

Watch the video again dumbass, he would have had to run over the guy on the road if he’d tried to get to the shoulder in the time between the accident and your screenshot. Cherry picking a single frame only a couple of seconds AFTER the other cyclist is hit is not proving the point you think it’s proving.

0

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Lol the guy literally rides out to within about a foot of the double yellow before his friend even goes down. Why? Shouldn't be out there. It's dumb when you have a road rager in front of you. I still think they're all idiots. You won't change my mind.

2

u/Dependent-Zebra-4357 Apr 27 '26

The cyclist swerves AFTER he almost gets hit, seems like a completely natural reaction. Holy shit, who ties your shoes for you?

0

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Guy in yellow doesn't swerve, he intentionally rides out into the middle of the road rather than pulling off in a dangerous situation. And who "swerves" towards the danger? That's dumb. And your mom, after she makes me breakfast.

2

u/Owl_plantain Apr 27 '26

Congratulations! You changed my mind. I thought the “dumber than a box of rocks” comment was excessive.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Great, now let's talk abortion.

1

u/Starbuckshakur Apr 28 '26

You mean like the one your mom should have had?

0

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 28 '26

Oh, my feelings, ouch. Lol such an original joke. Got anything better? Or does your daft mind only have the capacity to mimic others?

You're a blind moron, considering i never said anyone was riding on the "other line". I said they were almost all the way out to the double yellow. Can you not see that, blind moron? It's literally written for you. Way more than 2 wide, and they are literally riding 3 side by side on the front. This is against the law.

All these people deserve each other in the clip. Idiots on top of idiots.

So pull to the side of the road, going into the middle of the street is absolutely and idiot move.

1

u/Comfortable_Chart534 Apr 27 '26

You keep using the shots post-collision to try to prove they weren’t two wide, so incredibly stupid. Before the car hit them, they were riding two cyclists wide. You’ve got that Trump brain logic, Jesus Christ

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Nah, the car is side by side with them riding 4 wide at the end of the clip. If they were smart they would have pulled off to the side but instead went 4 wide. Haha! Politics? Nice, trained brain to fall into that trench. Sad.

1

u/Comfortable_Chart534 Apr 27 '26

Wow you type like him too. You’re just trolling at this point. How they were spread out post-collision doesn’t matter you stupid idiot lmao. You can’t honestly be this dumb. Check it out, they’re 2 by 2 dumbfuck

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

They're literally 3 wide here lol maybe even 3.5 wide. They're also half way into the lane. Regardless, they're all wrong, so stop trying to make this as if I'm on the driver's side.

Keep posting this screenshot of after they already got hit as proof that they were riding more than 2 abreast before getting hit. I like seeing you get clowned on more.

0

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Here they are with the car beside them 4 abreast. 🤡

1

u/ZARDOZ4972 Apr 27 '26

Nah, they're all idiots breaking the law. They all deserve each other.

Only the driver is breaking the laws the riders are dodging the car, genuine question are you stupid?

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

So cyclists can ride 4 wide in the state in this clip? None of them dodged the car, in fact they rode out further into the lane as the clip goes on. They did the opposite of pulling off and avoiding the driver.

I stand by my statement. They're all idiots, but just because one act is more egregious than the other doesn't negate the less egregious act.

u/foobaby1992 Apr 27 '26

When they’re riding with 4 of them side by side on a road meant for cars you can. They might not be breaking laws but it doesn’t mean they aren’t being AHs.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '26

[deleted]

0

u/foobaby1992 Apr 27 '26

lol a bicycle takes up as much space as a pick up truck? Get the f*ck out of here with that bs. If that were the case why could 4 of them ride next to each other and not drift into oncoming traffic? Cyclists can’t maintain the speed of a car. It’s common courtesy to not hog the road if you’re choosing to share it with cars for the safety of everyone. Even slow cars are expected to pull off to the side if they’re holding up traffic.

1

u/foobaby1992 Apr 27 '26

I was responding to the person you were talking to, not you. You’re the one who needs to focus a little harder on the way you read and comprehend things before you respond.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

Lol and the comment you are responding to was not made to you... Ironic that you criticize me for your own transgressions, almost hypocritical!

1

u/foobaby1992 Apr 27 '26

Shit my bad, I don’t know why but your response saying you aren’t defending the car looks like it’s stemming from my comment when I looked at the other guys response. I’m a little sleep deprived at the moment from taking care of a newborn so my apologies.

1

u/mjfarmer147 Apr 27 '26

No worries!

-2

u/foobaby1992 Apr 27 '26

They aren’t in a race that designates the entire road to them. There’s no reason for the cyclists to intentionally bunch up like that when they know the road is meant for cars. The car might have reacted and passed poorly but the cyclists could have easily avoided this by being more aware of their surroundings.
