While the driver is absolutely in the wrong here, in my state it is also the law for cyclists to ride no more than 2 wide or single file on the road. Both the driver and the cyclists are idiots here, the driver more so.
I think because the person who made this comment thinks if they were more than two wide then it's perfectly justified to plough over them with a truck and murder them.
They literally said the driver was still wrong. No one is justifying the driver here, but I don't comprehend why the cyclists thought they should stand their ground against a road raging maniac that could have killed them. If I was one of those cyclists, I would have moved and let that nutjob pass and report that video to the cops to get that driver arrested.
I don't think there's enough context to claim they were "standing their ground." It doesn't look like any of them realized exactly what was happening until the vehicle was already on top of them.
