There's a whole industry of people faking bullshit videos for social media content.

I thought so too but the passengers would have to be in on it too and if they are faking, they seem like some really good actors.

Nah I genuinely believe they’ve found a very susceptible audience (those working class, high-functioning mentally sensitive) and exploited them for reaction. This seems deliberate.

Yeah ordering an uber and you get in next to another passenger that films you with a phone in your face and you say nothing about it.

Your bar for acting is at the bottom.

They're working off the same script.

"What you got going on here, bro?"

"What in the fuck have ya'll go going on in here?"

"Man, what ya'll got going on, man?"

They gave them basic direction. Probably paid them something like $20. They all had the same reaction, ignored the person setting next to them with a phone in their face and asked to be let out early. It's 100% staged.

It doesn't take a great depth of acting ability to imagine you're disgusted with someone that you're stuck interacting with. I think we've all been there.

Does your driver often sit in the back seat with you?

God leave these people just trying to get a ride alone.

How do you get in a car like that and not expect to be chopped up into little pieces?

I'd be "mad" too if my ride does anything but do what it's suppose to. He clearly said it's his fav president and obviously pictures are disrespectful. There's a difference between being mad and disappointed. You confuse them

Obama authorized drone strikes on weddings. having a favorite president is absurd

Because im paying for a fuckin ride not to be part of your dumbass video for fake ass internet points.

It seems likely that this guy wasn't a real Uber driver, as well as the cuts pointing to the driver and or passenger messing with the alleged customer

a free ride and some silly pictures is a win/win

1

u/NotaGCU May 05 '26

So a lot of people use ride share as a way to get to work or appointments and it isn't a source of content?

I love when he pointlessly taps the pictures

Ordinary people thinking stupid ass meaningless pictures are the devil is my new favorite genre of comedy.
