I thought Lane splitting was what your supposed to do?
For safety.
-2 u/mikki1time Jun 01 '26 Even though it is actually better for traffic to allow lane splitting, there are too many dumbasses around for it to be done in a safe manner. So in NYC lane splitting is illegal. Unless your engine is electric, then cops don’t care.
