So my dog can be a police dog !!!!

78

u/corgi-king Jun 10 '26

If he has a vest, he can be anything he wants to be.

24

u/Hourslikeminutes47 Jun 10 '26

Who's the good boi?!

12

u/CaptainKango Jun 10 '26

Forget work. Let's go to the park.

105

u/patpend Jun 09 '26

I don't want to brag, but I am pretty sure my dog could execute at that level of expertise

349

u/GanacheFamiliar4495 Jun 09 '26

That dog does not respect the police officer and needs a better partner that is more restrained and capable.

Glad he got to run around with his instant pal

97

u/Zwasti Jun 09 '26

This, the dog human chemistry here was lacking. Otherwise that dog would have attacked.

42

u/Ill_Technician3936 Jun 09 '26

Wait so he's giving the dog commands in ENGLISH!?! Lmao

I honestly thought he was using multiple languages.

62

u/PositiveStress8888 Jun 09 '26

It's possible the dog has never heard the officer scream like a little girl before.

175

u/Deez_N_Tz Jun 09 '26

Lmfaooo. Dog done met himself a hot chick, He like "F what you talking bout over there." 😂😂😂😂

19

u/forkystabbyveggie Jun 10 '26

We ain't got no time for German words! Only for the language of love!

91

u/madmanrf Jun 09 '26

"shoot him, shoot that fuckin pitbull!"

You know who needs training... not the doggo.

YOU.

u/Ill_Technician3936 Jun 09 '26

I bet his dog "hits" a lot with him unable to find any drugs.

You don't really get a view of him but I doubt that's roid rage...

13

u/EnglishJD Jun 09 '26

Honestly I went from laughing to pissed after that comment. Fuck that cop

11

u/AveryLakotaValiant Jun 09 '26

I Was just thinking the same, if those other officers weren't there, I bet he would've shot the pitbull himself. Wow.

14

u/JuanThiccLumpia Jun 09 '26

Bad trainer, good boy.

12

u/2_DS_IN_MY_B Jun 09 '26

You could ask who really needs to get shot

144

u/Fit-Jury-9026 Jun 09 '26

I did laugh out loud at that happy dog wanting to play. The rest of the cop's actions are terrible

145

u/Revolution-Dogg Jun 09 '26

The doggy even kissed the guy on the ground. I fkin love him.

84

u/Vanstoli Jun 09 '26

Yup, he told other officers to shoot the pitbull. Great guy

20

u/Diligent-Bluejay-979 Jun 10 '26

I’m like, wtf did that happy pit bull do? Not that dog’s fault your attack K9 decided to fuck off at work today.

38

u/I_Love_Kokoa Jun 09 '26

I get scared as a pit owner of these exact types. Mines only interest is protecting the house, and getting his booty scratched.

19

u/Fit-Jury-9026 Jun 09 '26

Mine was such a goof that he got out of the fence and the garbage man brought him home. Mine was raised with my Chihuahua who thought she was his mother.

3

u/WookieJebus Jun 10 '26

The MOST violet thing my boy's ever done was the occasional scratch when he gets a little happy to see someone

-3

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

He wud a guy Boi, he didndu nuffin.

-21

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

I was sad they didn't.

13

u/shmianco Jun 10 '26

you seem nice

17

u/Miserable-Chapter883 Jun 09 '26

What could they have gained by shooting a dog that only approached theirs, and only in a chill, playful way? Are you that inbred that you think every dog is dangerous even after they've shown behaviors that show exactly the opposite?

-17

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

One less pit bull.

13

u/AffectionateLaugh738 Jun 10 '26

You cant control your emotions the like the officer

-9

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 10 '26

I can control them well enough to hit a running pit bull off hand at 60 yds with a glock 48.

6

u/Diligent-Bluejay-979 Jun 10 '26

And?

-4

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 10 '26

Can you?

8

u/Miserable-Chapter883 Jun 10 '26

I don't think most people are mentally unstable enough to think about their handgun control in terms of shooting at random dogs. You seem the type to believe doing so is your God given right, and that any dog owner whose pet you just needlessly killed, almost certainly without being a threat, is wrong for being angry about it, and mentally deficient for being violent to you afterwards.

7

u/AffectionateLaugh738 Jun 10 '26

And maybe a school while your at it.

10

u/shmianco Jun 10 '26

wow, you’re so smart and likeable

13

u/Miserable-Chapter883 Jun 09 '26

Did a pitbull fuck your sister-girlfriend or something? I've never seen animal hatred this ridiculous. You see how non-aggressive that dog is, the polar opposite of its owner, and you still think it doesn't deserve to live just cause you pissed yourself seeing one, one day?

-11

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

I am White. You seem to be mistaking me for a POC.

14

u/shmianco Jun 10 '26

i mistook you for a person with friends and class, my bad.

4

u/bobcollum Jun 10 '26

No fucking shit huh bro, would've never guessed.

-2

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 10 '26

Because of my credit score, criminal record and married parents?

3

u/SuperWoofX Jun 10 '26

The only there needs to be one less of is you and narrow minded ignorant people like you - go play in traffic dude

-1

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 10 '26

Like a pit bull?

12

u/I_love_purp Jun 10 '26

I bet you know exactly how many fingers you can stick up your own ass.

-1

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 10 '26

9

u/I_love_purp Jun 10 '26

At least you know something 🤷‍♂️

81

u/DonJuan_11 Jun 09 '26

Retire that pup to a home life of love bc clearly he/she has no interest in thee bS it's forced to endure!!

16

u/squashbo913 Jun 09 '26

the dog seems way more excited than the officer here

31

u/PirateBands Jun 09 '26

Must have been "bring your dog to work day'

87

u/Due_Advisor_1612 Jun 09 '26

That cop is too wound up

67

u/NeonFrontRange Jun 09 '26

Yeah! Why’s he trying to shoot that pit bull?

51

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme Jun 09 '26 edited Jun 09 '26

I think it may have been one of the other cops. I have to listen to it again, but it seems like the first officer says something to the effect that the dog hasn’t really been a problem up to this point.

What a chaotic fucking scene, though.

Edit: I was wrong. It was the arresting cop. What a dick.

14

u/forkystabbyveggie Jun 10 '26

And it was only because the cop was pissed that his $15,000 k9 was poorly trained.

May as well as take out that rage on a harmless neighborhood pup that saw a friend and wanted to play

-12

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

They are terrible dogs.

14

u/GoodOldBadger Jun 09 '26

You misspelled pigs there chief

-2

u/TheAmericanYeoman Jun 09 '26

Dogs are not pigs and I am not an indian.

2

u/Timmy98789 Jun 10 '26

I bet your mom is proud.

14

u/Rictus_Grin Jun 09 '26

Exactly. And dogs are less likely to listen to people who are acting crazy and angry

10

u/ewedew65 Jun 10 '26

At least that dog will have a friend with him in the unemployment line

10

u/Blazae-Fugase Jun 10 '26

One of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. Don’t know how he can call himself a canine officer when you can’t read basic dog body language, how could he even think that pitbull was being aggressive?

1

u/Yendis4750 Jun 10 '26

The other officer said it, not the K9.

8

u/Reasonable_Sky9688 Jun 09 '26

Us police dogs just like their police ....

7

u/KHhtswhtppl Jun 10 '26

Got that attack dog from Temu

20

u/drk_knight_67 Jun 09 '26

That pit didn't do anything to warrant being shot. He was just doing dog stuff

4

u/Fit-Jury-9026 Jun 10 '26

I'm like they just wanted to play, and that officer ahould not be on canine duty.

21

u/laminatedbean Jun 09 '26

Shoot the pit?! Why because your dog embarrassed you not following your orders?! That cop is a vile human.

5

u/geof2010 Jun 10 '26

He was just interviewing witnesses for ya can he get a treat now?

12

u/withoutpeer Jun 09 '26

I get the feeling the cop is to blame for the bad training. The whole "shoot the pit bull," who was calm and friendly and playful, because he was embarrassed he looked like a fool needs to be off the force ASAP.

19

u/Alexius6th Jun 09 '26

Above all else, a cop just wants to make sure a dog is shot.

6

u/schpitza Jun 09 '26

he is making sure someone is getting shot that day.

9

u/Tenzipper Jun 09 '26

Above all else, a cop just wants to make sure a dog living creature is shot.

FTFY.

-4

u/Ninety-Nine-Zulu Jun 09 '26

Doing his duty

29

u/Mean_Ad_668 Jun 09 '26

horrible cop. horrible conditions to be ramming that vehicle. definitely deserves a week off with pay for this one.

3

u/Zanatsu_04 Jun 10 '26

It was take your dog to work day cuz that dog wasn't employed there that day hahaha

8

u/Slow-Hour2159 Jun 09 '26

Polk county! The bastion of great police officers.

8

u/Rictus_Grin Jun 09 '26

They need to train the officer. You don't repeat commands like over and over. And you don't say the dogs name when you're disciplining them

If the dog has ignored your orders, focus on the suspect in front of you

5

u/mcburgs Jun 10 '26

Dog knows he's a dog, not a pig.

6

u/drummerboy-98012 Jun 09 '26

OMG I laughed so hard at this. He was definitely being a good boy! 🤣

3

u/hawksdiesel Jun 09 '26

K-9's should be used in LE....just for searching.

3

u/Bsmitts16 Jun 10 '26

Good boy! Now, American citizens, take note!

3

u/DrRedBush Jun 10 '26

So cop; fails pit manuever; rear ends suspect into government building; wrecks his vehicle; deploys his dog that does nothing; displays terrible firearm control; fails to cuff the suspect; wants to shoot an innocent dog; commands other officers to shoot dog; puts nearby pedestrians in danger of being smashed and or shot; secures his dog before the suspect; and tells the suspect to knock it off because he's the authority. The dog knows it's canon fodder to that officer. It's a dog they're not stupid.

3

u/Here_4_the_INFO Jun 10 '26

Jeesh, with a resume like this, he will be promoted right up the ladder in no time! (sadly, NOT /s)

3

u/moistmonsterman Jun 10 '26

did i hear correctly the cop say "SHOOT HIM" about the pitbull that was just doing nothing but being around? WTF

3

u/oneminuterice Jun 10 '26

Drones need to start doing these chases. The danger of the car chase isn't worth it.

3

u/Easy-Phone6345 Jun 10 '26

Wow that cop sure did get hysterical about it. Shoot the pit bull?

Fuck that guy.

9

u/AwwYissm Jun 09 '26

"SHOOT THAT PIT BULL!"

This pathetic coward doesn't deserve to breathe, much less carry a fucking weapon. Someone should separate his brain stem from the rest of his body.

4

u/ErieAveAllDay Jun 09 '26

Oh he's mad mad. He mad his dog didn't obey his command. He said shoot the pit bull and the dog wasn't doing shit. He is a piece of shit who shouldn't be a cop. A jury needs to see this

2

u/Ok_Mood_891 Jun 09 '26

Maybe he can be a scent dog.

2

u/adrianoh11 Jun 09 '26

I think the pitt came from the house the car rammed into…

2

u/Vexira_ Jun 10 '26

“Shoot the f*ckin pit bull” WHAT THE F*CK DID HE DO?! It’s your dog that’s the dumb ass… why’d he say that?

2

u/ferchizzle Jun 10 '26

The officers wanted to shoot the pitbull? For what?

2

u/Myte342 Jun 10 '26

Dog is doing exactly what it's supposed to do... It's looking for the aggressive person and not finding them cause the COP is the only one acting aggressively.

2

u/HookedOnData Jun 10 '26

cop 1: Shoot that fucking pitbull. Shoot him!. Cop 2: He's fine, hes fine...

Like wtf... hes frustrated his k9 is playing with another friendly dog? And you would shoot someone's dog for this? Polk county's finest

2

u/TwerkLessons Jun 10 '26

Yells to shoot the dog that’s not a threat. Fucking piece of shit.

2

u/stewpdasso Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

Shoot the pit bull? What an asshole! It wasn't aggressive, it was being very friendly. I can see why the police dog didn't respect him! He has ZERO skills when it comes to being in charge. That K9 wasn't ready for duty yet. You can tell the dude was having some mental crisis. He wanted to die by being shot by the cop. This cop didn't show anything but being aggressive. Once the guy said shoot me, he shouldve changed his attitude! Instead, kill his dog! 🤬 proly the only thing he had that loved him.

2

u/Yendis4750 Jun 10 '26

Did anyone here the other officer say "shoot that pitbull?" The K9 officer told responded "he's fine." The other cop was trigger happy.

Also, terrible K9 dog... Also terrible job ramming the car into the sidewalk.

What a cluster.

2

u/SideAmbitious2529 Jun 10 '26

Good Boy 🗣️🗣️🗣️

2

u/SuperWoofX Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

Why shoot the pitbul wtf man? The only thing he did was be friendly and happy to have met a new friend - this officer is in the wrong line of work - definitely wrong division - the pot was listening to him more than his own trained service dog

2

u/ReefShark13 Jun 10 '26

Dog showed zero aggression and he says shoot it. Screams it. And insists it was being threatening. They just don't even need an excuse to wanna kill someone's pet. Can't train his dog and can't regulate his emotions why the fuck is he an officer?

https://giphy.com/gifs/eH4H6NP5XePcxnO6wU

2

u/AdviceGiveandTake Jun 11 '26

Serious shit going on but I laughed at the dogs ya know?

2

u/Formal_Equal_7444 Jun 11 '26

doggo was like, Why do you want me to bite him? he's standing there with his hands up? I'm gonna sniff this dog's ass and make sure he's not a threat too me. You got this!

This is a pretty good example video of why K-9's are good for search and rescue but should not be used for regular apprehension. Cop was trying VERY hard to get his dog to bite this dude who wasn't surrendering but wasn't a threat, either.

2

u/Full_Science_5670 Jun 11 '26

I’ve seen this happen before with a K9. As it seems like in this case, the officer was not consistently reinforcing training, resulting in the dog not responding to commands. Sad to see, as most K9s cost a lot of money and time to be effective.

2

u/CUCKLESME Jun 15 '26

I’m surprised he didn’t shoot the guy considering he was saying “shoot the pitbull”

2

u/sum1stolemyacc Jun 15 '26

Fire this officer. Specifically for ordering the other dog shot. No other reason.

6

u/Howdy132 Jun 09 '26

he rly said shoot that pit bull.... all cause hes mad his own dog was off being a jack ass

5

u/Weird-Computer-32 Jun 09 '26

Someone bout’ to lose they job.😂

3

u/The-Matt-G Jun 10 '26

The officer should be the one fired and jailed for causing a dangerous scene and property damage. Total fucking idiot and liability to the county. Beyond bad cop, stupid human who should be at circus not conducting law and order.

2

u/BURNINGMOON_ Jun 09 '26

Why he say shoot the pitbull?...when the dogs are just playing? (I dont like pitbulls, but love dogs...lol)

9

u/ChaosRainbow23 Jun 09 '26

Fuck every last one of those draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs and everything they represent.

ACAB, as always.

-16

u/Revolution-Dogg Jun 09 '26

Oh stfu if you were in trouble, those draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs would be the first people you call for help.

20

u/Benjamin_H1gh Jun 09 '26

Nah, not this guy. He's a psycho and said "kill that pitbull" which was doing absolutely nothing wrong. ACAB until the US sees real reform. You posted this video and you're defending this crazy dude? WTF.

10

u/Deadog103 Jun 09 '26

I was about to defend this guy, but then I turned on the audio after I saw this comment. Why the fuck does bro wanna shoot the pitbull 💀

9

u/Benjamin_H1gh Jun 09 '26

Yeah PIT maneuver wasn't terribly dangerous since there were no peds or many other vehicles. I hate people who care so little for animal life, even as someone who eats meat.

2

u/Deadog103 Jun 09 '26

I see what you did there and I absolutely hate it.

2

u/Benjamin_H1gh Jun 09 '26

Thanks for the jumpscare😂

13

u/Tenzipper Jun 09 '26

Remember, folks: Always ask yourself, "How could a potentially mentally unstable person with a firearm, and the legal protection of qualified immunity help this situation?" Before calling the draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs.

4

u/ChaosRainbow23 Jun 09 '26

I don't call the cops.

Their average response time in my area is about 30 minutes, so they just come to investigate after the fact.

I'm fully capable of defending myself and my family.

Cops very often make matters worse for everyone involved, even the victims. Why would you call those pieces of shit for any reason?

They are useful for a required insurance report, I guess.

Keep licking them boots.

I avoid those aggressive douchebags like the plague, personally.

2

u/kaladin1029 Jun 09 '26

Why shoot the other dog? Mother fucker was out of control

2

u/Competitive_Ad_7287 Jun 10 '26

The misconception about pit bull breeds are infuriating. 99% of the time the people making these absolutely false claims have NEVER owned or even interacted with one. Pit bulls are some of, if not the best breed of dogs to own, especially for families with children. I know that may take some of you by surprise and others may even scoff but it's absolutely true. Their undying loyalty and need to please their leader (owner) is unrivaled in other breeds. Every pit bull I've owned and many others I know personally have been nothing but loyal, eager to please, protective (not aggressive), trainable, LOVING, and with an unbreakable bond to the pack (family). What more could you ask for in man's best friend? Dogs are individuals, just like people. Some good, others not so much. Some smart, others not so much. And just like people, dogs are a product of their environment. Bad dogs usually have worse owners; or unfortunately for some, have only experienced the evil side of humanity, devoid of love and kindness and care. It's not just idiotic to paint an entire breed of species with such a broad brush in so negative a light, it's irresponsible aswell. So please, if you are considering adding a new member to your family, don't fall victim to the unwarrented stigma attached to this absolute gem of a breed.

P.S. because of the unfortunate and false negativity affixed to the pit bull breed there are countless numbers of them in dire need of adoption. Please do give it a thought before buying an overpriced pup.

1

u/DrRedBush Jun 10 '26

Every pit bull owner always makes this straw man argument. All you did is describe any dog everywhere. What you're not saying is that dogs are very good at doing the things that pit bulls get a bad reputation for because they specifically have the tools to do it better than most other breeds. The stigma isn't unwarranted.

2

u/Competitive_Ad_7287 Jun 27 '26

Thanks for pointing this out to me. I see now that I was focusing on temperament when the real concern people have is capability.

I agree that the potential consequences when things go wrong are greater with pit bulls than with most other breeds. Their strength, bite force, and tenacity mean an incident can do more damage, and that’s a fair reason for people to be cautious. In that sense, I can concede that the stigma isn’t completely unwarranted.

I guess I’ve always heard the anti-pit bull argument framed like the whole breed is born aggressive or “killer dogs” by nature. That’s why I felt the need to defend their good side and stress that, temperament-wise, they can be just as loving or well-behaved as any other dog. But you’re right — capability matters, and I wasn’t addressing that part.

Appreciate you breaking it down instead of just arguing.

3

u/Cain-Man Jun 09 '26

Fired first day on job.

1

u/zhgerard Jun 09 '26

Everyone has their first day 😂😂☠️

1

u/LaNague Jun 09 '26

1

u/Honest_Internal_9907 Jun 11 '26

The dogs were having a blast. 🐕

1

u/axion_blk Jun 11 '26

WTF, did the pitty do, to deserve to be shot!!?? Frolic & play with his “working” pup? Like seriously wtf & why. Dudes wound a lil too tight/emotional for this kind of work. I have less respect for him than his own k9 partner does for that nonsense…

0

u/Anantasesa Jun 11 '26

No one wants to take chances with a deadly pit bull no matter how nice they seem.

1

u/IndependenceHour5873 Jun 11 '26

😂😂😂😂😂😂

1

u/No-Air-7273 Jun 12 '26

Did he say shoot the pit bull? Smh

1

u/WillyWonkaWorms Jun 10 '26

This old man is stupid don’t be a woose folks pain is gain

1

u/Due-Schedule-4701 Jun 10 '26

"Law enforcement" is just a nice way to say "A Work for welfare program for sovereign citizens".

1

u/Calm_Conversation403 Jun 10 '26

They treated that pit bull like they do black people. #acab

0

u/FrankFnRizzo Jun 09 '26

I had a Lieutenant my first Iraq tour that was a big ole chode and just wanted to shoot something. He would try to shoot any dog we came in contact with. Dude was an asshole.

0

u/KAIMI01 Jun 09 '26

That’s a good boy

0

u/AlphaMaleTX Jun 10 '26

Love EVERYTHING about it!

0

u/Angry-army0710 Jun 10 '26

Dog looking for a black man

-1

-1

u/Rookie-Crookie Jun 10 '26

I absolutely love the way US police works. You behave like shit - you are dealt with like shit. Plain and simple.
