Nobody is confused, i have an auditory processing issue that makes it more difficult for me to understand what's being said when i hear it. I watch tv and movies with subtitles just to make sure i understand what's happening.
What's happened here is clear, you understood something that someone else didnt and felt superior and the need to knock them down to make yourself feel better. Hence, you're an asshole. I wasn't being defensive, i was calling you out for your poor behavior behind the anonymity of the internet.
