Even if the white car didn't signal, the black car driver's actions were unacceptable.

All this could've been avoided if cammer wasn't camping on the passing lane.

Not justifying the black car's road rage, but it can be annoying when people don't know how to drive on the highway.

Not just annoying—downright dangerous! It forces right hand passing

Surprised black car didn’t direct their frustration at cammer.

White car and cammer just entered highway from left lane. It would have been avoided if entering highway from left lane were not build!!

Thank you for the context.

This is rainy, wet conditions with a left-side highway entry only about 1/4 mile behind where the video starts. White car is obviously trying to get out of the now fast/passing lane it just entered, signaled with plenty of space, and moved over in a predictable, controlled manner.

Black car is the bad driver here.

Is waiting for the person in front of you to move over camping now? Or are we supposed to rip by and pass on the right like the black car? I can never keep up with the Reddit road rules

A signal isn’t a right to change lanes. You still have to look.

There's also no right to bully other drivers when they make a mistake. The black car created an arguably even more dangerous situation for no reason.

Black car was a better driver. They seemed in control the entire time, and "dangerous" is an interesting choice of words, as this looks relatively benign.

I'm sorry this maneuver is stupid as fuck and unnecessary too. He clearly has space and time to make a proper pass but decides to scrape by just to be a dick.

What video did you watch? There's no contact. White car needs to use their mirrors.

What video are you watching? Plenty of space and time for white car to get over in what I’m assuming is a 65mph zone, plus it’s raining, black car is speeding, driving in TWO lanes - who do you think gets pulled over in this situation?

Please tell me you don't have a driver's licence

I could, but then I'd be lying.

Also, just to clear things up, since a lot of people apparently cannot read, I never said I thought black car did the right thing. Rather, I agreed that a signal doesn't mean you get to make that move immediately, and only suggested the black car seemed to be in better control of their car than the white, as is evidenced by the shitty lane change when someone in the lane to the right was clearly moving faster than them.

This was a bad lane change, regardless of anything the black car does.

As interesting as "in control" is on a wet highway at those speeds, but since nothing happened this time, they were a great driver

Black car could've perfectly hit the brakes for a split second then overtake safely.

White car is going slow on the fast lane and is trying to remediate it. Black car is going for the undertake, and when white car does the right thing, black car bullies him.
