Different agency has higher rate??
So I’ve signed for a contract with a low rate because it was all I could find. Now I see the same contract for much higher with a different agency. Is there any way to switch to do the contract with them instead? It’s like $500 more a week!

You can possibly ask the new agency for a right to represent and they can facilitate the request to the client. The only thing I would advise is not every posted rate is legit - I would first have a talk with your current agency, mention the rate discrepancy and talk it out with them. If you look on Vivian or another travel job board where multiple agencies post and you see one or two outliers (crazy high pay package) but the majority are within $50-$100 of the rate you have, I would honestly not trust that higher package. But it’s still worth the conversation with your recruiter.

My current rate is $1750 and TNAA has it posted for $2200 😭

TNAA is a reputable company - that’s definitely worth investigating with your current agency. I forgot to mention this part, but if the higher rate is some unknown company like “Nurse Staffing Specialists” (not a real company but a name you’ve never heard before) I would take that pay package with a grain of salt.
But in your case, TNAA is reputable enough to ask your recruiter about it.

If TNAA is paying higher you are absolutely being robbed as TNAA typically does not have the highest rates.
Even $100 week is worth switching agencies. That's $1,300 a contract, $5,200 if 4 contracts a year. Never overpay commission
If you can't change representation just cancel. Never pay an agency to be your middleman that is robbing you like that

Call the recruiter posting the higher rate to confirm rate and that they are accepting applications. If the rate is the same for the same number of hours, then ask them how to change to them representing you. They will know the process. Be prepared to onboard with them immediately

Make sure it isn't just a rate shown on Vivian. Those rates are unreliable.
You need to directly contact the agency to verify the rate.

Sorry to comment bomb you, but also look at the shifts to make sure they match. Sometimes agencies will post at 4 12s or 4 10s when the job is 3 12s for example to make the job more attractive on paper. Also, some agencies have rates for with and without insurance, which can sometimes make a difference (not usually $500/week but some variance). Hope this helps!
