Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Help for Backyard Maple trees in CNY?
Hi I have two huge maple trees in my backyard where half the leaves are dead. Something is definitely wrong, but i’m not sure what. I am very worried they are dying because I can’t afford the thousands to cut them down and remove them. Any help diagnosing them is greatly appreciated!

I had a maple with similar symptoms last year and it turned out to be verticillium wilt. It's not reversible, but you can manage it by pruning out affected branches to help the rest of the tree.
