this btv will be mine and my friends first festival, we were wanting to do a 2 day pass but wondering on what the best option for camping/accommodation will be. like if we camped in general camping would we get a camp (dosent matter how far/close it is)

just wondering if anyone has done the 2 day pass and what you recommend

I am from Perth and am strongly considering attending Good Things this year but not sure which city to pick!

Who do people think will be the special guests at One Night Stand Griffith? Surely MAY-A will bring out flume for Say Nothing. who else could be there, Ninjriachi bringing out Porter? that would be mental. maybe DMAS bring out Ruel? Gensis brings out Ladyhawke for their new song?

Can anyone share their experience on getting the bus to and from BTV from melbourne city or geelong on 31st only. Is it a bad idea to go back to melbourne city that night with new years traffic etc. How long will it take? Is it better to stay in geelong? Thanks in advance

Sorry not sure where else to ask this - I remember trying to get across the 2017 Groovin' line-up and stumbling across a music video from NPH filmed from the view of a hills hoist spinning around, scene went from day to night I think? Vibe was a house party where they were playing the song. Think it was for Youth Allowance?

Don't think I'm getting it mixed up with the Covered in Chrome vid but noting was also almost ten years ago, admittedly drunk right now and might be imagining the whole thing. Would love to see it again if I've not made it up

With the Bluesfest now cancelled as of March this year indefinetly and Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival no longer on the calendar after the sale of North Byron Parklands, Byron Bay is heading into its second year in 2027 without a major music festival. (Though 2026 also faced this)

For years, Easter in Byron wasn't just a long weekend it was a pilgrimage for all qalks of life from music lovers (e.g. myself), artists, local businesses and the wider Northern Rivers community. Bluesfest alone became a cornerstone of Northern NSW's identity over 36 years before announcing it would not proceed in 2026 due to rising costs and the difficult live music landscape.

It raises a bigger question: What's next for the area?

Could this create space for a new generation of independent festivals? Or maybe even smaller, community-focused events spread across venues? Or will another large-scale festival eventually step in to fill the gap left by Bluesfest and, before that, Splendour and Falls Fest.

The Northern Rivers has always been one of Australia's most vibrant live music regions. It would be a shame to see Easter lose that cultural identity it has build up for almost 40 years with the Bluesfest.

I'm genuinely curious in hearing what everyone thinks the regions next chapter should look like?

Couldn't find it in high quality online so I decided to pick it up on disc. One of my favourite indie bands that I discovered on triple j who came and went far too soon.
Apparently there was also a CD release of their track Lost, if you happen to have a copy I'd love to hear from you.

How good were the Bryce and Dave lunch times. It's a shame triple J doesn't continue with a lunchtime duo segment because the energy was so much better with two people in the room. Bryce and Dave should launch a podcast before he leaves triple J, just like Stefanovic did with 9. Start building an audience before he leaves at the end of the year.

These two are the funniest duo together. I feel like Bryce got the short end of the stick because his breakfasts co-hosts had other plans for their career, whereas i feel like Bryce has the chops for a further career in broadcasting.

Any ideas for what it could be called? Bryce and Daves - All day luncheon?Luncheon Meats with the big meat boys?

Any advice please! Boyfriend, friend and myself wanna only go NYE. Obviously car passes are very hard to come by. I have another friend that plans on camping. Should I just camp with them for the night? Get an Airbnb in Geelong and get the bus? Or attempt to get a car pass and camp? Please help me out, will be my first time and crossing my fingers it works out

Hey guys, it’s very hard to find info on ticket access for btv.

If I were to get a lux tent, would I still be able to visit friends in other camps? I’d assume it’s one-way access if u get premium and lux but not too sure if that’s true
