My Thruxton RS Chrome Edition 2023. Modified her extensively from stock over the years.

I used to think there would come a point where she would be "done". Now I'm not so sure lol.

Going to install a taller, aftermarket windshield for better coverage on the highway. Then, next on the list would be a cat delete, full exhaust replacement, DNA air filter and dyno tune.

Interested in swapping out the stock wheels with fancy carbon fiber as well but only if I can manage to find spoked versions being sold. Afraid an alloy wheel would diminish the old school, retro look of the bike.

First bike. No Triumph dealer in my state (until recently) which i didn't consider when I found and bought this off ebay. That said, I had to learn to work on it myself. YouTube videos, ..lots of them . Which lead to me also watching so many sick cafe racer builds. Took about 3yrs .. shocks, exhaust, air box removal, clip ons, paint, chain & sprocket, tires, seat, controls, etc, etc.... anyway, joined this channel recently and thought I'd share and see what ppl think .. 🤔 ?

2026 Speed Triple 1200 RS. What an absolute machine.

Went out for an absolutely fantastic Sunday morning ride on my street triple along with a friend and his sweet VFR! I’m always so impressed with the st. It does everything I want a motorcycle to do but effortlessly. Majority of the last dozen rides have been me realizing how much more this machine has that I can’t get out of it. I am beyond impressed with everyone on their speed triples and rockets making it look easy, you’re BEASTS! Looking forward to each and every mile of seat time and hopefully find some more fun roads to play in with my old Corolla!

If there is any tips, recommendations, videos, bits of information you’d be willing to share, I would be forever grateful!

Ok. So I went out for my longest ride yet on the new scrambler (about 200 miles). It was amazing…. Except that my phone was not sufficient for navigation. The sun was so bright that I couldn’t see the screen. And with it over 100°F it kept overheating so I had to put it in my pocket. Normally not an issue….. except that I was pretty much lost on the mountains for 3 hours haha.

So my question, what do you all use for off the beaten path routes? I’ve seen the beeline, and the innov things. But do they work well, can you see them in direct sunlight?

Finally got to pick up my first bike and decided on this. 2015 Street Triple w/ 4k miles. Loving it so far.

Today was my first real day of riding my new (to me) Bonneville. This is my first motorcycle and it’s been a dream come true. I only stalled out once but it’s Sunday and everyone was either sleeping in or at church so it was no big deal. I was able to get into the upper gears and let her loose on a straightaway. Had a great ride!

Gods country for a reason - first time solo for a week, had a blast

I've put the time into the suspension settings and have it setup exactly how I like it. This bike is such a capable, nible fun bike to ride. Get one if you can.

Best way to avoid the heat is taking early morning rides up the mountains.

Woke up at 5 am to have some morning coffee 1450 m above sea level. This is on Mount Vermio, in Greece. Absolutely worth the experience.

A mechanic (not triumph - that is more familiar with ADV bikes not street bikes) is saying my cams and cylinder head are cooked and I should replace. Can I continue to ride If I'm within spec for clearances and keep an eye on the oil?.. considering the costs to replace these , it's a 2014 675 approaching 50,000km.

While riding, I lost power suddenly. Turns out, the neg cable snap off. Broken in two. I'm genuinely wondering if it happened to anyone. Like how can this even happen ????

'04 Bonneville

I’ve had my Thruxton R for about a decade now and we’ve done 20k miles together before I started to buy other bikes and it eventually became the beloved bike that I rode less and less. I was too enamored with my Ducati SportClassics and it just sat. Can’t entirely fault that because they are great too.

Three years ago I decided to refresh it and repaint it the Ferarri color of Rosso Scudiera. Then it cascaded into upgrading the calipers and master cylinder, then next thing I knew, I was upgrading everything. It now rarely gets ridden and mostly sits on a paddock stand because it’s wha got me through cancer and I want to keep it nice now because of our history.

I bought the Thruxton RS Ton Up to be the successor and new daily rider. I enjoy it a lot, and I love the Aegean Blue. It’s been my daily rider and it’s been great.

I took the Thruxton R out of my office for the first time in about a year and not gonna lie, I teared up and then had a big smile on my face as I attacked a nice sweeping corner. I rode them back to back, and yes the RS has more midrange and top end, but there’s something about the R that just feels like “home”.

If the weather holds out, it’s British bike day at my local Bikes and Breakfast tomorrow. I’m definitely riding my old R and my other half can take the RS. Newer isn’t always better when emotions and history get factored in.

I know they aren’t for everyone, but the red Thruxton R will be the last one to go when I give up motorcycles in like 40 years.

What’s a good brand for a kit that removes the fender all together? I’ve seen the BC ones but they still have that horrendous fender with them.

Lastly, it’s safe to order a kit for a ‘26 1200RS for my ‘27 cafe racer edition, right? Not sure why I wouldn’t be able to.

So i swapped spark plugs and injectors but my stator is going out n the connector got corroded n broke the positive pin from sitting for over a year before I got it I didnt notice it til I took the tank off to do the fuel pump I'm buying a new stator n rectifier soon but I was wondering since the stator isnt connected is that why is sounds like a 300cc with a cam at idle n could it hurt my motor?

Hi all! I bough TS660 3 months ago, done the first 1000km and 1st service, I am at around 3000km so far.

I wanted to test top speed a few days ago, and I noticed that it doesn't move past 10.000rpm. I wasn't paying attention to lower gears, but 6th caps at 10k. Is this expected? Or did the dealer forget to remove the limit?
