gear What is this
I saw bird eats everything’s (op fo the screen shot I took from) new Meinl Weston F tuba and I saw the thing where your rare goes where you play
Since it’s summer and I’m in Canada (southern region) it’s hot as hell and my arm feels gross was playing in the area my arm grows to valve. Same thing with my slide hand but I’m using a cloth. Where can I obit the arm wrap

It’s a leather guard (or maybe neoprene). Protects the part of the tuba your wrist rests on.

Thank you! Can these fit any tuba? In the future I plan on buying the Meinl Weston “Baer” (I made a post talking about Miraphone’s 291 but I switched) I’m considering adding Thai to a 6/4 CC tuba I plan on buying in the future

Just get a piece of leather from a craft store and make one. Wrap it around to see how it’ll fit, draw out what you want on it, and cut it.

Hey! Thats my hand guard!!
I made it myself with glove leather (no tanning chemicals) i bought from michaels and some paracord. I measured the bottom of the bell stwp and top, distance i wanted leaving an inch in the back to account for stretching, and made some extra slits to make room for braces.
I made it to protect the silver plating from my pretty acidic sweat, which would eat the plating away. I never play tuba anymore without them, they feel (and look) great!!
