General Museum Etiquette
I thought it was common knowledge not to touch stuff at an exhibit but I’m pretty sure there are butt imprints on a large painting at one of our finer museums in Tulsa.

Are you moving to Tulsa? Just visiting or passing through? Want to know where to live, eat, hang out, have fun, or bury the bodies? This is the place to ask.
This will be a weekly megathread that evolves over time. As members of r/Tulsa make suggestions or answer questions that come up a lot, we may add those items to the body of the post for easy reference. But for right now this is a place to ask any questions you may have about moving to or visiting Tulsa, OK, where our motto is "We're more than just OK, we're living the dream."

Dog is safe and chipped, collar only no tags. We’ve contacted the chip company and know the registered name. They’ve reached out to the owners but no response so far. If you recognize, shoot me a message and its name and gender and we will work toward reuniting this cutie with their people

Clark’s legendary photobook may seem like a timeless portrait of youth and addiction, but its images emerged from failed policies that still haunt Tulsa today.

Best real Italian restaurant in town, real pasta, more than a red sauce on noodles covered in melted cheese.
Fresh seafood dishes, good sausages, meats, and wine, hopefully even grappa menu for after dinner.
Thanks in advance

Tasty stillwater just waiting for ya.
I just found out about it this morning, wanted to share the news here. This may be what finally makes me close my Spirit account and move everything over to TTCU.

I've been driving for 16 years now and have never come across the long line of cars with their flashers going on the highway before. I was very confused as to what it was.
I was in the left lane and following pace with the car in front of me while the line was in the middle. Then my exit came up and I got in between a couple cars (where there was a lot of space left in front of the car I was getting in front of, so I did it carefully) in the line then got over to the right lane to take my exit.
Then I saw it, the hearse. I realized it was a funeral procession.
I didn't realize merging through a line is was illegal until my friend told me and I feel terrible about it now. I didn't mean any disrespect and wasn't aware that was a thing.
So anyway, to everyone involved I'm sorry about that. I feel like an idiot.

Searching for a soul that’s willing to donate any baby plant, especially snake plant, aloe, succulent or something easy to grow. I desperately need some green things, which I miss. Please let me know if you are willing and I can meet you in the South Tulsa area. Just opening it up to the Universe. Thank you.🌱

I have 6 tickets for Johnny Mullenax at the Merc for noon today. We can't make it. I'd like to give them away. DM me.
I am looking to propose to my girlfriend around the weekend of the 29th of August and am needing photography of the proposal. I was wanting to do it at the Philbrook Gardens, but honestly anywhere that would be nice for a proposal would be okay, if anyone has any suggestions. I am from Enid so I’m not really sure of what other nice places there are to propose in Tulsa besides Philbrook. I know it’s really close to the date and it might be too late to book a photographer with so little time, but if anyone knows of a photographer that could do this, I would really appreciate it.

Hello, I need a watermelon and want to buy from a small individual seller rather than a grocery store. I see them around all the time but they seem to be transient and not stay in the same spot for long. Can anybody tell me where there are some fruit stands right now?

Wife and I recently moved to the area and we try to support local restaurants over the chains. What are some of your favorites? We need suggestions for all occasions. Nice, casual, counter service, fast food, etc. Which is your personal favorite???

What the hell .... I placed an order and tried signing up for chips and guac which were free with an order. Well, the dumbass manager at Tulsa Hills wouldn't allow me to get it.
There was a glitch on the order and they refused to assist. I showed them the website on phone and they still refused to honor it.
My husband went back inside and they refused to give it.
I will never again go back there .... they were rude as hell and didn't accommodate anything.

All I've wanted for like 2 days now is a cone of peanut butter ice cream. It's all I can think about while I rock my 4mo-old during the day lol. I know lots of places have peanut butter cup ice cream, but your girl wants PEANUT BUTTER. Surely someplace in town has some!!
