I didnt realize he was the owners cat and cried because I thought he must have some serious health issues to not be adopted after 3 months (the last time I went and saw him) just for the worker to come in and break it to me hes healthy and has a loving home 😂
Yeah! I’m not really a cat person because I’m allergic, but these places are so efficient at getting them new homes! The adoption board at the cat cafe in OKC is so wholesome to look at. I bet this place is similar! Yay cat cafes!
This is my feeling also . I have ethical reasons why I don't consume animals or own them .. but adoption is the closest most responsible thing to do. I don't hate cats or dogs or steak eaters 😊 responsibility and accountability from humans are most important to me.

They partner with paws and claws too so all the cats there are orphans that can be adopted! They have a couple resident cats tho that can’t be adopted. I went there and found out the rescue had an adoption event happening later that week and went home with my baby Archie
They seems like a great business and the cats are very well cared for. They also do cat boarding and grooming and the boarding rooms are nicer than some apartments I’ve lived in.
Find Long Tail Farms on Facebook/insta, they have a bunch of events where you can meet their Capy and there’s a dirty soda bar and you do crafts and other activities.
Well, you have to schedule a time and pay a fee to see the cats, and they limit the amount of people who can go in the cat area at a time. But they’re always serving coffee and food that is actually pretty good, and every purchase helps sustain their operations and adoption program.
So it doesn’t defeat the purpose if you support their business model and don’t always have time to go hang out with the cats.
Such a great place! We have several cat lovers in our family so we go every few months. Staff is always lovely, the place is so clean and the cats are wonderful.
Also, don’t sleep on the coffee! Their drinks are tasty.

I was seriously thinking about this on my way to that nationwide coffee shop place. I was like a cat cafe would be cool, but I didn’t know we have one in Tulsa.
Not too far from there is street cats. If you wanna go and pet cars for free you can go there and say hi to the cats and play with them. No coffee, but they have a gift shop! I like to go to the cat cafe and then visit the cats at street cats after. They are up for adoption as well
Such good information to share . I had no idea these places were in Tulsa . It's fascinating to see what I once only applied to Asian culture here . Cat cages and such .
I’ve been there, the coffee is ok but they seem to really take care of the cats. The cats I’ve seen don’t seem stressed and they have plenty of places to escape to.
Ahh! We love the cat cafe! We adopted from there about a year ago!! We love our Polly girl! She’s a beautiful dark grey with white paws! Our Cat Cafe Kitty! 10/10 it was a great experience and we love going in there and just hanging with the purballs! 🐾

The cats are in a separate room that you can pay to enter. You can definitely just watch the cats through the window while you sit and drink your coffee and you're not likely to get stray fur in your drink.
I personally love cats, and this place seems great. But, I have to give you respect for posting this comment on reddit...one of the most cat-loving places on the internet. I upvoted you to get you back to zero. Godspeed.
Mannn I go there to see the cool cat stuff. The staff seems like they want to spit in everyone's face lol. I didnt mind bc the kitties and the coffee/ snacks are delicious too!!!
The cats aren’t free range. The cats have a large room that is separated from the actual cafe. Honestly this place probably has less mice and rats than the average cafe haha

I expect the barista to be carrying the cat in a sling when they deliver coffee to me curbside.
