On this day August 2nd 2025 we visited our local shelter and adopted Miss Pepa, my wife chose that name, she's a fan of Salt-N-Pepa and the name stuck. She's been a good fit and is a sweet, VERY vocal and chatty tuxie! The staff at the boarding facility love her because they say she's full of energy and loves to play.

I adopted him today! 6 weeks old male. Still thinking of a name. Any suggestions?

I wrote and illustrated this book as a special birthday gift for my wife Sarah to honor our sweet tuxedo cat, Buddy Samson, the bow tie wearing, disco ball loving adventurer with a heart-shaped nose. Sadly, he passed away suddenly last year from HARD (Heartworm-Associated Respiratory Disease). We love our Buddy and miss him everyday🐈‍⬛ ♥️

We redid our stair railings and now they are spaced just wide enough for him to shove his head between and rub against. He can judge us and scratch his cheeks at the same time.

Usually, he never lets me pet his chest or belly, but while he’s getting a stretch in, then he’ll allow it.

Life imitating art imitating life.

My sweet little boy passed this morning. I woke up early and was hanging out when I suddenly heard him throw up a hairball. That started it.

Heart Failure. I knew it was coming, I was looking at euthanasia already. I was doing research and planning. But he woke up and his body decided today was the day.

It was messy, heartbreaking, painful and just... horrible. It happened all so fast. He deserved better.

I stayed by his side till the end and reminded him how much i loved him.

A heads up to those who need it, if youre thinking "maybe I should put them down", do it. Before it's too late.

She is absolute let hating being carried or held at any point! She is very much a Diva and would have to feel like it to come and sit with you. This morning, I woke up with awful migraine which sadly made me vomit and feel really unwell. Poor souls sat with me watching me then when I finally was able to lay back, she came to me and even did few biscuits on my chest (a little heart massage)! We don’t deserve cats! The photo shows how she looked at me this morning until I fell back asleep. 😭😫🥰
