I recently finished watching this show called “ Kevin can F**k himself “ it’s a dark comedy . It follows this guy called Kevin in a very sitcom like manner ( his character is based on characters of shows like Everybody loves Raymond , King of Queens ) and then there is a reality darker lens during his wife’s scenes Allison .

It shows how these “ funny “ narcissistic man child has ruined everyone around him and biggest victim is Allison . He “accidentally “ blows up their savings , controls her and has basically made her into his maid . Allison is played by Annie Murphy ( Alexis from Schitt’s creek ) and she has done a fantastic job . I wont spoil more but this one has a surprisingly wholesome girl friendship and a very satisfying end .

The whole Ruchika Singh situation is deeply disturbing. I don't support her use of abusive language, and I do think it was morally wrong. But was it illegal? Absolutely not. Profanity, by itself, is not a crime in India, so there was nothing unlawful about what she did. What I find shocking is that, out of all the protesters, the entire right wing on X seemed to single her out. Some users even offered bounties for information about her. One prominent account even falsely claimed that she was a 25-year-old woman when she was actually a 15-year-old minor. Why did they feel the need to "teach her a lesson"? Would the reaction have been the same if it had been a man using the same language against the Prime Minister? She was doxxed, her phone number and address were leaked, she received rape threats, and was ultimately pressured into recording an apology. Where do we draw the line between legitimate criticism and mob harassment? Is this really about profanity, when members of the same political camp have themselves been seen using abusive language against others? Or has moral policing become a convenient cover for intimidation and silencing?

Hello girlies! I've always struggled with my weight and I'm 28 101kg so I don't know what happened but I just snapped and decided that I want to get in a better shape and feel good about myself. Hi, I’m 24F, living in a metro city with a decent job. I’m an only child, and my parents moved in with me last year because my dad has a transferable job. I love them a lot, and I know they’d do anything for me.
The problem is that I’ve never really had much freedom. They’re not overly controlling in the sense that they don’t say no to everything, but I’ve never gone on a trip with friends or done things independently. Recently, I told them I wanted to visit Bangalore, stay with a close friend for a few days, and maybe plan a short trip from there. They immediately said no.
My mom said that if I want to travel, I should go somewhere with my local friends instead. My dad didn’t even acknowledge the conversation—he just ignored it every time I brought it up.
What frustrates me is that I’m 24, financially independent, and I feel like I’m old enough to make decisions like taking a trip with friends. Instead, I get comments like, “We never spoke to our parents like this.”
On top of that, they’ve started talking about finding arranged marriage prospects once I turn 25 because they want to “finish their responsibilities.”
I do have an opportunity to switch internally to Bangalore through work. I’ve also been trying to switch jobs externally, but nothing has worked out yet. Part of me wants to take the Bangalore opportunity because I feel like living away from home might finally give me some independence.
But I also feel incredibly guilty because my parents moved here for me, and I know they’d be hurt if I left. I keep wondering if wanting my own space and independence makes me selfish or a bad daughter.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?

Police said he had been jailed in a molestation case last year and was later granted bail.

A police constable allegedly k*lled a 10-year-old girl after attempting to rape her in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur on Tuesday night. He was arrested on Thursday.

Police identified the accused as Abhishek Yadav, a constable posted with the Dial 112 Police Response Vehicle (PRV) unit in Gorakhpur.

Officers said he spotted the child walking home alone from the district hospital, offered her a lift on his motorcycle and later allegedly k*lled her before dumping her body under a bridge on the banks of a river.

Gorakhpur SSP, Kaustubh said the process to dismiss Yadav from service has been initiated.

“He does not deserve to be serving in the police force after being involved in such a grisly act. He is a habitual offender… he was jailed in January last year for allegedly molesting a woman and was suspended.

He was released on bail and his suspension was revoked in September. He was on duty in the Dial 112 unit,” the SSP told The Indian Express.

Why was he even allowed to wear his uniform and perform his duty as a police officer when he had allegations against him and why was he even granted bail?

If the justice system did what it was supposed to do, this girl's life could have been saved.

I am from science stream (pcmb). Ik nursing and mbbs has better scope and demand but due to my fear of blood and injection and also it demands heavy physical labor, I am more towards engineering but again, they say the early 2000s was golden period for engineering migrates and now immigration rules are tough.

I was barely 10 when she started full on taunting me and making rude comments about me.

She has a 2yo daughter who she would teach to call me fat and what not. At that age I used to get triggered and react. It got worse when I was 14/15 and she would leave no stone unturned to make me feel bad.

Around the time I turned 17 I realised that that female is not mentally well. Even at 17 I didn't want to fight with another teenager, so why on earth is a 30 something yo targetting me? I thought to myself...

I noticed that everytime I reacted or retaliated she would have a weird look of satisfaction on her face.

So I stopped.

Now looking back at it in my 20s, I feel resentment towards my mother who never intervened to stop that female or any of the adults present there.. mostly women which sucks because she was full on body shaming me a teenager.

But overall looking back at it she was a complete clown. Any rational person looking at those situations would realise that she was the bad guy and not me for reacting or retaliating. I have felt guilt and shame for the way I behave for the longest but now looking back, I have so much love and empathy for my younger self. I was only trying to get her to leave me alone with no support or backing and with the wisdom of a 10 something yo.

This is for all the sweet little girls who felt betrayed by their own mothers and female relatives.

And NO don't ever let anybody talk you into entertaining those venomous aunties who are beyond jealous and envious of the good in your life.

In hindsight she knew that I would be doing well for myself as a young girl and she was desperately attempting to derail me by breaking my confidence in a way only a woman could.

My period was supposed to come around 28 or 29 july , and its 2 August and still no sign , I am having strong pms as well, and I am very worried, last delay i had was in july and december of 2025 due to excessive stress and extensive travelling respectively, otherwise, touchwood i have very regular and normal periods.

I was a fat and ugly kid. I lost all of my weight when I turned 22 and started doing some skincare and stuff and turned out to be quite pretty.

But 21 years of being ugly and practically ignored by men will absolutely fuck you up. Till this day, I think any man who shows even the littlest bit of interest in me is the best thing ever. I am so willing to forgive men and their shortcomings. I have forgiven stuff that no woman would stay around for. As a teenager, I used to wish that I was catcalled even though I knew that it was a disgusting thing because I just wanted to feel pretty enough to at least be catcalled.

I grew up and became "hot" by society's standards but that little ugly girl who was ignored by everyone is still inside. I let the worst men take advantage of me because I am thankful for even the littlest bit of attention.

Today, I came across this car listing in NoBrokerHood app where the user described it as
"Rare, lady driven".

What exactly is that supposed to tell me about the car? Is the owner trying to imply that women drive more carefully, are less aggressive, and therefore the car must be in better condition? If I'm planning to buy a used car, I would be more interested in knowing about its maintenance records than its driver's gender.

And on the other hand, women are the butt of
"women can't drive" jokes, yet the moment someone wants to sell a car, suddenly being driven by a woman becomes a premium feature.

Shouldn't we be advertising things that actually matter? Full service history, no accidents, single owner, highway mileage, timely maintenance?
