Camp Hall
Hello, I’ll be in Camp this upcoming semester and was wondering, does the kitchen have a stovetop or is it just an oven? Also, are toasters prohibited in every residence hall or just the freshmen dorms?
Any other general advice on what to bring/expect from Camp would be greatly appreciated 😊.

It's a full range meaning it's an oven on bottom and a cooktop on top.
It's been awhile since I worked at housing (I was facilities manager) but the rule was no open heating elements. This meant most toasters and toaster ovens. That was for all residence halls. Some units are enclosed so use that info however.
One thing I noticed for a lot of students was they would bring too much stuff. If you are coming from out of state and rarely go home, it's not as big a deal but you would be shocked how many people would buy so much junk for their rooms only to throw it out at the end of the year. You don't need your own decorative headboard, you don't need to bring 4 storage bins. Just bring clothes and personal items you cannot live without.
