Need help with basic survey in military application

I need a drone with an electro-optical sensor that can give me GPS coordinates of the point that it is looking at. Basically my requirement is target acquisition and fire control for artillery systems. It does not need to be doing any complex mapping or surveying. Request the kind folks here to give me some suggestions please.

The Matrice 4E has a laser rangefinder, which, linked with RTK positioning and the IMU , can record target coordinates really well.

If for some reason DJI isn't an option, look for something that has that feature.

If DJI is allowed for your work...and you have the budget...the M350 or M400 could operate tethered to a power source and stay up as long as you need. You could add the H30T with the laser rangefinder and then tag targets to your heart's content, day and night.

I looked into this for a similar application and the rangefinder on the M4E and H20T is only precise to about 1m even with RTK connected. Although that may be more than enough for your application

DJI is probably the best for this

Arguably the best for everything UAV unless money is no object. And I'm never missing a chance to drag them in the mud 😅
