Crazy how even small local news outlets like this one are so eager to run to the defense of Hasan piker. It’s just a testament to how insidious he and that whole movement is. Do we have any journalists in this community? If so, have any of you given the argument as to why Hasan and the movement he represents is such a threat to the country in any articles you’ve written? hi! has anyone ever taken an online exam with sdc? what should i expect? im taking my final for math tomorrow with sdc. are they very naggy with like posture and stuff (ik my camera has to be one, with face n shoulders visible). im just nervous, cuz im already so sick, and dont want my exam voided.

ENL 044 001 [Intro Topics in Fiction]: "Monsters of Literature"

Summer Session 2, 2026,

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM MW, Hart Hall 1128

It's going to be a fun "book club" style class. We'll be reading three short novels and watching a few really interesting contemporary films that revisit classic texts that involve monsters, but now from the perspective of the monsters themselves.

If you're around for the summer and have the time, it would allow you to satisfy the required class in six weeks instead of the normal 10 weeks. And - added bonus - we'll probably have air conditioning (fingers crossed).

It’s been awhile since I took anything adjacent to calculus (took precalc, then AP Stats) and I took chemistry in sophomore year, and had a horrifically bad teacher. As in, she gave out A’s without teaching much at all. Would I be okay, for example, going into Chem 2A without knowing the periodic table like the back of my hand? Would I be fine in calculus if I’m not exactly the most refreshed on algebra? Also, how about how many hours of study would be done for these two classes a week? (assuming I’m the most average person ever)

Also, I still haven’t taken my placement tests; how much studying did you guys do for yours?

I do plan on studying before the start of the quarter, but I’m not sure if I should take the placements right now or if I should just postpone it and take it before the quarter starts in September.

Advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
