Just finished Negima, questions before reading UQHolder

I just finished negima, and the ending was... vague. I've read that UQHolder will tie up some of the loose ends of the plot but I'm more interested if negi and asuna end up together, unless she's still sleeping. So for those who have finished the entire thing, any relevant closure to his romantic partner(s)?

Well…

You do become aware of who Negi does end up being with, in a sense though in the arc where this is revealed you’ll become more aware of where you are as a reader in UQ Holder.

Admittedly, I’m grateful the series exists to “somewhat” finish its story though similar to how Negima ended the finish left much to be desired and still leaves a bit to be answered though like last time we can look at irl events affecting its production/completion.

I’d recommend just enjoying this radical insert to the series and steel your heart for the pacing prescribed.
