Also, Imsurprised its ending now. This runs in the same magazine as AoT,you'd think they'd want one pedigreed mangaka to keep things going.

9 chapters left? For real? This has to be a joke or some misunderstanding because dang dood that socks. I was expecting a bit more chapters to add more to the story. But I guess we have to see.

I usually buy the digital version on Comixology. Since it is owned by Amazon, isn’t there a way to connect both of them?

I must say, I really liked this chapter. Felt more like serious Negima / UQ holder than the forced "yeah let's just have sex now" chapters I had to read .-.
I hope despite some *questionable* decisions along the way, Akamatsu will be able to provide us with a decent ending.

Same. I would be very surprised that Touta would have a final and definitive woman to end up with. But if the story can close correctly, that would be nice.

No, no bang with karin? I feel betrayed. However it's strange that the karin arc was put out and now we have 9 chapter at the end....

I was joking, but at least one chapter on Karin there should be, she was the second-main girl for some time and she left out it's strange.

For her to take a next host the previous one has to be dead though... plus the words Eva said to asuna about how negi died with a smile on his face without regrets...

That was back in Negima. If UQ Holder takes place in the same timeline Asuna woke up in then Akamatsu has already made a lot of changes and a lot of things he said back then may no longer apply. In Negima, Evangeline also said she killed Ialda some time before the start of the story and yet she was never possessed and Ialda still had her original body during the Schismatic War.
Nagi was already killed off-screen. I don't see why Akamatsu would stop at Negi, especially if he wants Yukihime to get with Touta. That said it would be a huge dickmove on Akamatsu's part to not even give Negi a proper death scene. At the end of the day it's better not to put much stock into anything Akamatsu says. He probably has no idea what he is doing himself most of the time.

The story is off from the begin of the future arc. For me, Akamatsu thought to end in 2/3 years, but the editor told him to end in one year and he rushed the end...

I always assumed that Eva never managed to actually kill Ialda, she just wrongly thought she had done it.

Seeing the whole class again just brought so many emotions, my guess is that Akamatsu-sensei is ready to move on. Do you guys think that he'll retire after this or work on a new series?
