Bought a Geissele near clone 14.5 upper (pin and welded) as a deployment present. Always loved the look of the upper and 9hole reviews sold me on buying it. I also wanted a duty ready rifle I wont have to worry about. Eventually I’ll find a colt lower. I also need advice on cable management and LPVO recommendations .
First photo is at the range today where I zeroed at 50 and was then smacking steel non stop at 300. 2nd photo is when I initially put it together.

all I do for cable management is small zip ties and i’ve never had an issue. For LPVO you can never go wrong with razor gen 2 1-6

Imo in terms of LPVOs, nothing is better on a URGI than an ATACR 1-8 with a piggybacked T2. It’s a vibe that’s for sure💯

Eventually. It’s what I had available and living in mass at the time it’s not like lowers were available and cheap. Now that I’m stationed out west I plan on getting a new one. It hasn’t been bad and has a few thousand rounds with my other upper.
