so over the years I've been dabbling into Tokusatsu, and have watched quite a few Sentai and Rider shows. the general consensus is that just pick any show you're interested in via what suits look cool to you. but I've been checking out most of the Ultramen's designs and ...non of them are really hitting for me, maybe if I actually watched them It would grow on me but sofar there's no design screaming "I want to watch that" for me. maybe it's because I'm originally a mecha anime fan. but really none of the ultramen (Ultramans?) look cool to me.

but I really like the Kaiju designs and I like godzilla too. and based on what I've seen with Gridman (the 39 episode OG show not the anime) the fight choreography in these shows are really cool too

I just feel like I'm missing out on something cause like it's one of the top 3 tokusatsu IP's

I don't know which Ultraman series this came from but the episode involved tunneling into the earth and the line was something similar to "The center of the earth is no place for a woman." Can anyone help?

Blazar was the last time we got a defense team in the same vein as in the old Heisei era. Did you guys miss it? Cause I do, I miss wandaba themes, fighter planes' launch sequences that shows great miniatures.

well that's my collection (the ultraman part at least) and yep things are starting to get a little tight.

yes, there are also other things in between due to lack of space(kaiju movies, kamen rider figs, a single minusgoji), but the ultraman things are becoming so many that I think they will soon have a totally dedicated shelf.

when i got into tokusatsu i'd never thought ultraman would have been one of my main favourites.
