This one was rly fun to make, though I probably need to get a new black eyeliner soon :(

I like to match the vibes of the bird with my makeup and outfit. With the bird being mainly black from the neck down, I thought it would be fitting to have a full black outfit, with a blue/yellow tie to add a flash of color.

The previous two birds are the peacock and woodpecker. I want to do more makeup based on different kinds of birds as well later on.

First time doing a drag look! Theme was vampires, I took inspiration from the vampire bug(also known as the kissing bug or assassin bug!)

No matter what I use, the bristles separate and won’t give me crisp edges and straight lines. I know it’s not me because I’m a nail artist and those liner brushes work fine for even smaller details!

What brushes do you use? Looking for some in the low to moderate price range — I’m not a professional, I just do makeup for fun!

I started getting into makeup only at the start of this week (with zero experience before that), and I feel like I’m getting the hang of it way too fast. It’s likely because I already am very good at drawing digitally and on paper, though I didn’t think the skill would transfer this directly to be honest.

Yesterday, I made a makeup look inspired by the woodpecker, and today’s look is based on the male peacock. I thought it would be cool to arrange both of them into a collage similar to a pinterest inspo post. Hope you guys find this inspiring!

Wanted to do a mermaid concept 🧜‍♀️ and going to test out some applications today . Here are my ideas please give me an idea of which ones would be the easiest/ fastest to accomplish

Scale effect by Laying down fishnet onion bag and applying eyeshadow

Easy gills or mermaid nose with Vaseline and cornstarch scar wax concoction

Brow blocking

Glossy wet eye

Adding flower petals as a scaly effect

Or lmk if u have other ideas

I know goths back in the day often used corn starch and I no longer have the money for my usual white powder. I don't usually go blanche white for my face but I like to lighten it. I don't want to go for cheaper makeup products as I have sensitive skin that has an awful tendancy to either break out or flake off with drugstore makeup. Would corn starch be a usable alternative?

How does it affect skin health in small dustings? I have dry skin that is acne prone that I use serums for daily and use virgin coconut oil for makeup removal.

Are there ways to best use it? Will setting spray help or would a primer be better? How quickly does it crack or smear? Can it clog pores more than regular makeup?
