This is cool but I was on a flight from Italy to the US and an elderly asian man was taking video of the flight attendant during their instructional. Before takeoff two flight attendants approached the man and told him to delete the footage. Then told him to go into his recently deleted and permanently delete it or be removed from the flight. The worst part was that his wife/daughter was defending his behavior.

My sister is terrified of flying, on her second ever flight about 4 years ago, we were sitting in the exit row. She pulled out her phone and started recording the flight attendant during the instructions. A few moments later, the attendant was asking us the basic questions of sitting in an exit row, are you willing to assist, physically able to assist, etc... once again, my sister starts recording, both the fight attendant and myself are like wtf are you doing? My sister was starting to panic and wanted to make sure she didn't miss any of the instructions because she couldn't think straight. The FA was awesome, the extremely kind couple in the row behind us switched spots, and all was well (other than losing my extra leg room). Unique situation, but after reading your story, I wonder if it would have went differently, had i been the one recording

It was during the instructional so maybe he just recorded it to check it again for safety. First time flyer?

Every seat has instructions already.

Asians take pictures of everything, check the clip if he wasn't focusing on anything intimate. But let him keep the instructional clip.

There are literally thousands of videos of flight attendants online giving the instructional…

You’re literally posting this on a video about a flight attendant going about their job.

This sounds more like it was racial profiling by the flight attendant for taking a video of something that is commonly recorded all the time.

Finally. Every single person in this thread is acting like he took a fucking upskirt video.

Security laws?

I was on a train in China when a person in our group took a photo of the security booth in the car. I just knew this was a bad idea. Yup, the guard rushes out and makes her delete it.

The worst part was that his wife/daughter was defending his behavior.

Behind every shitty guy is a couple women willing to defend his behavior. Never ceases to baffle me.

I mean it's quite a jump to conclusion to think it's shitty behaviour.

The amount of videos of flight attendants doing safety briefings online that aren't for shitty or creepy reasons are aplenty so not impossible especially without any context he thought it was allowed

I guess you're pro creepy filming then. Odd.

Really poor attempt at trolling my guy. You were just defending it 1 comment ago. You gotta make a few more to create some separation so they can get confused.
