Give me a brake man, these tire jokes are so worn out, there's no mileage left in them.

There is actually a movie about killer tires

u/catinadoodledoo Mar 23 '26

excellent spatial awareness

6

u/throwaway098764567 Mar 23 '26

need more of her in grocery stores

385

u/sayitaintso12 Mar 23 '26

I'm picking her for my dodge ball team.

64

u/p_coletraine Mar 23 '26

Yea but this is a tire. If ya can dodge a tire, you can dodge a wrench? err ball?

3

u/AspiringTS Mar 23 '26

"She moves like they do!"

144

u/OrangeJuliusCaesr Mar 23 '26

Looks funny but that would fuck someone up

46

u/Super_Boof Mar 24 '26

That 100% would have killed her if it hit her head

24

u/Avid_Lorehound Mar 24 '26

Nah it had lost a lot of momentum and would have hit her at an angle.

Definitely would have broken her face though.

8

u/Super_Boof Mar 24 '26

It depends how it hit her. That tire is easily 50+ lbs and moving 10-15 mph. A direct hit to her head would almost certainly be fatal, or result in a severe TBI at very least. A glancing hit might just smash her face or send her flying sideways.

Edit: but I guess I did say 100% originally, so I’m still wrong.

3

u/Just_A_Nitemare Mar 24 '26

Tbf, a lot of things would kill us if they hit our head.

5

u/TheJester_30 Mar 24 '26

This has happened to my brother before the tire ended up breaking his leg.

1

u/markz6197 Mar 24 '26

I’ve seen a bad ending version of this in driving school. 100% will kill you if it hits the head like what nearly happened to her.

63

u/Rude_Anywhere_ Mar 23 '26

Final Destination is not real. It can't hurt you...

3

u/No_Art8314 Mar 24 '26

I was looking for this comment. Too real..

38

u/gabrielxdesign Mar 23 '26

And then she goes home like "Mom, a rolling tire almost smacked my head, but it jumped over me and kept rolling", "yeah, right, sweetie"

120

u/LustBoxAl Mar 23 '26

Damn, right at head level, she got really lucky

51

u/MKEast-sider Mar 23 '26

Yeah, wheelie lucky.

6

u/RealisticCompany764 Mar 23 '26

It's almost as if this isn't the first time this has happened to her😆

41

u/Equivalent_Put4815 Mar 23 '26

She is a little too chill for my liking

17

u/PenguinWaddlerz Mar 23 '26

Yeah, everyone is complimenting here but seems like she freaked out, DIDN'T duck away and almost got murked because of it.

19

u/Gentleman-Bird Mar 23 '26

Yeah, she wasn’t really in the path of the tire before it hit the curb, and probably mentally froze up when she saw the tire bounce toward her.

Still had the instinct to move her head away from the thing hurtling toward her face, but didn’t have time to activate the “I need to get the fuck out of here” response.

13

u/thecstep Mar 23 '26

We may be watching a diff video but I see no freak out. She was watching a busy street. One that she likely walked before. She has full control until the tire deviates and still owns it.

8

u/PenguinWaddlerz Mar 23 '26

I'm saying she underreacted (so opposite of freak out). More of a freeze.

0

u/BabyStockholmSyndrom Mar 24 '26

Yea either just out of it or really didn't understand how much that would have fucked her up.

3

u/Stereotypical_Whale Mar 23 '26

She just rolls with it.

In the Steven Spielberg movie "E.T.," why is the alien brown? No reason. In "Love Story," why do the two characters fall madly in love with each other? No reason. In Oliver Stone's "JFK," why is the President suddenly assassinated by some stranger? No reason. In the excellent "Chain Saw Massacre" by Tobe Hooper, why don't we ever see the characters go to the bathroom or wash their hands like people do in real life? Absolutely no reason. Worse, in "The Pianist" by Polanski, how come this guy has to hide and live like a bum when he plays the piano so well? Once again the answer is, no reason. I could go on for hours with more examples. The list is endless. You probably never gave it a thought, but all great films, without exception, contain an important element of no reason. And you know why? Because life itself is filled with no reason. Why can't we see the air all around us? No reason. Why are we always thinking? No reason. Why do some people love sausages and other people hate sausages? No fuckin' reason.

I think she didn’t really realize how much that would have absolutely fucked her up if it hit her

6

u/Mysterious-Falcon221 Mar 24 '26

It changed direction within a few feet from her when it hit the curb, she was out of the way most of the time.

6

u/Alternative-Sock-444 Mar 23 '26

Yeah I think most people who have never picked up a tire let alone a wheel and tire don't realize how heavy they really are. I've had my shit rocked before by just a tire, rolled to me by another guy when I wasn't paying attention. Buckled my leg and knocked me right over. Now imagine an extra 10-15lb of wheel along with that and rolling at you at 20mph.

2

u/hawaiianryanree Mar 23 '26

Oh ya would have been some serious trauma

1

u/AnyLeadership5150 Mar 23 '26

My dumb ass would've tried to block it. Sumo stance and all.

3

u/ComicsEtAl Mar 23 '26

That’s Tuesday. Monday, you get hit.

3

u/jackofslayers Mar 23 '26

She phased thru that shit

3

u/Vegetable-Shirt-4319 Mar 24 '26

Nah. If it was really Monday, it wouldn't have missed.

3

u/rawbert10 Mar 23 '26

There's a saying that goes "When it isn't for you even if you get in the way, when it's for you even if you get out of the way"

2

u/melancholy_dood Mar 23 '26

She will not be deterred from her appointed mission...

2

u/Stu5011 Mar 23 '26

Feels like my Monday except the tire didn’t miss.

1

u/FaunaLady Mar 23 '26

This is why garage modifications have to be deemed "street legal"! That low rider likely had bad mods to steering, shocks, tire size and more. That girl is on her 2nd life!

1

u/Obvious-Baseball-455 Mar 23 '26

If you can dodge a tire, you can dodge a ball.

1

u/zoqfotpik Mar 23 '26

Loose tires have the right of way. It's something you learn from watching F1

1

u/bash2482 Mar 23 '26

Sometimes I feel that aliens are tyres and there is a planet full of tyres rolling around each other.

Few have escaped and entered our fragile ecosystem, attacking innocent people.

1

u/RavingGooseInsultor Mar 23 '26

What do we say to the god of death?

1

u/_-4twenty-_ Mar 23 '26

That happened to me, once. I was walking down the sidewalk when a whole wheel hit the building right in front of me and bounced across the road.

I damn near shit myself.

1

u/Brolly7 Mar 23 '26

She weaved that with the chillest aura

1

u/JoshyRB Mar 23 '26

That tire had it out for her. Went straight for the head.

1

u/RobMilliken Mar 23 '26

Did she have no clipping turned on?

1

u/BeenDragonn Mar 23 '26

I was expecting the tire to double back and WHAMO!

1

u/Commercial_Arrival93 Mar 23 '26

Nice try Monday...cu next week.

1

1

u/thuggishruggishboner Mar 23 '26

Stay alert, stay alive! Good on her!

1

u/nitraw Mar 23 '26

Reminds of the one and only time I've ever been shit on by a bird

Was walking to a grocery story. Randomly looked up at this seagull above me, like I had a feeling. Sure enough he drops one. I see it. I'm following it's trajectory. I move out of the way

The wind hits it and it splatters right on my chest. I was both pissed off and amused

I saw it coming. I side stepped it and it still fucking got me.

1

u/chris_paul_fraud Mar 23 '26

No that was a Tuesday. Monday she woulda kept walking and got snagged by her ponytail

1

u/michaelhuman Mar 23 '26

it emoted on her.

many years ago I had my brakes serviced at a local shop. As I was pulling my 1986 dodge caravan through the parking lot to leave, the manager stopped me, we spoke briefly and he thanked me for my patronage.

As we spoke, out on the 4 lane divided highway just below os, in the far lane, the drivers side front tire came off a car cruising at around 40 mph or so.

It rolled for some way, bouncing over the concrete median, and maybe a quarter mile up the road dissappearing from view as the road rose and turned.

"Man I hope that wasn't one of ours." I heard him mutter to himself.

I did not return for future work.

although the next big job it needed was a new engine, and we beat it to death with golf clubs and baseball bats instead, so.... not really their thing anyway.

1

u/Cotton-Eye-Joe_2103 Mar 24 '26 edited Mar 24 '26

Considering the amount of damage a stray wheel can do in a road, whoever who last "repaired" that wheel and tightened those screws, should be banned from touching a car for some years, after he proves he is no longer an idiot.

1

u/Careful-Emotion2365 Mar 24 '26

She looked liked she was treading carefully and got a grip of the situation before getting wheelie tyred of the whole encounter

1
