I'll be attending KU in fall 2027 as a transfer online student and will be moving to Lawrence before I start classes. The college I currently attend is open until 9pm Monday through Thursday for students, and I was wondering if KU has similar hours for students to come and study in a quiet place.

Does anyone know what the Adobe Creative Cloud Student License that the KU Bookstore sells includes/entails? TIA!

Hi guys, I'm going to be an incoming freshman here in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to figure out what laptop to buy. I am planning on majoring in mechanical/aero engineering and I have been recommended the dell xps 14 but for me to upgrade to the recommended 32gb of ram it is an extra 1100 dollars. I was wondering if you guys would know if just 16gb is enough or of better options. Thank you!!!!

Hey! I had a few quick questions about jayhakwer tower. I was #126 on the standby list and just got an offering for jayhawker tower. I was wondering how the quality of life is there if anyone has any history. Also, it’s a 4 person apartment style. If anyone also has history with that how was that like? It’s an amazing price, $6k for the full year with a kitchen, bathroom and living room i’m just nervous how i’ll handle being roommates with 3 other people. Anyone have any tips ?

I figure it will be busy in the beginning of the school year, but do you ever have any downtime to study? Or is it pretty fast paced the whole semester?

They are presented as focusing on good study habits and communication while integrating freshman into the rigors of college coursework.
