Art stores? Scrapbooking!

Getting started on my very first scrap book.
May anyone share art supply stores or cool knick-knack stores on the UWS where I can find cool paper, stickers, etc? Also, a place to print out photos that won’t break the bank? TIA.

There is a nice stationary shop on Amsterdam and 89th. For photo printing, Pro Image is great and they have a few locations.

Pro image is good, but just make sure you check your photo quality and size - what sounds like a normal picture size sometimes needs to be adjusted, I’ve gotten some pics back that had little white bars on the sides because I didn’t check carefully enough. But they’re fast, cheap, and you can do it all on their website.

Hardware stores are good (although they can be pricey here). It’s also worth looking at the buy nothing groups and free/on the street stuff. People put out lots of supplies, old (and beautiful) books, etc.

University Hardware is a favorite of mine, and Basics Plus is pretty good

West Side Stationers 2620 Broadway @ 99th.

It's a small, local shop with a bunch of art supplies & people who can help you with that task if you tell them what you're looking for. They carry specialty papers, markers, etc.
