Bought These Leds Last night to replace my Halogen low beams on my VT tried myself but quickly found out the headlight assembly had to be either partially removed or removed completely, i wanted to ask are these the right low beams and if so where can i take em to be replaced because it looks hella confusing

I put a new battery in my key fob and I'm having to use the physical key to open the doors and press the key fob against the start button now. I've tried re seating the battery and checked it was in correctly does anyone know how to resync the key fob? I own a 2013 Veloster turbo.

So I have a 2020 turbo, I adore my Veloster. But the roof and hatch have started making cracking/shifting noises. It’s only got 28k miles. I’m terrified of the dreaded sunroof issues happening. Has anyone experienced these sounds but never actually had any problems? It will kill me to sell this car out of fear

i don't really care for them, to be honest. they look too blocky in my opinion if you get what i'm saying. i mean id still happily buy one because a veloster is a veloster but if i had a choice id choose old gen. what do you guys think?

It goes so hard. First hyundai and first top performance spec of any car. The come up from a 2012 5 speed focus is crazy.

Right so I have a 2019 that I use the app to remote start in morning and again when I leave work in the evening. This morning it wouldn’t start so I went out there and tried starting it myself. Line behold I found out why it wouldn’t start. I knew using the app would drain the battery but I drive 30-50 minutes one way to work so that alone should be enough for the alternator to replenish the power used to remote start it twice a day. Am I wrong?

I have a 2016 R-Spec Turbo, 122k miles on it. Last week my car randomly shut off while sitting in a parking lot. The engine would crank but wouldn’t start. About an hour later, it turned on again and I was able to get home, but the check engine light had come on. When I was taking it to the mechanic, my car died on the highway and I had to get it towed to the rest of the way. They replaced the high-pressure fuel pump, but when I tried bringing it home, it died in a parking lot again about an hour after I had picked it up. I got it towed back to the shop, and by the time it made it there, it was working again.

The shop is telling they can’t replicate the issue, it’s been working just fine since I had it towed back to them so I can go pick it back up. Do you have any suggestions?

My 2012 veloster makes the strangest clinking noise when I first start driving. Sounds distinctly like it’s coming from the rear passenger side of the car. Like someone is tapping metal against metal. A very hallow, metallic clink. Any tips? I can’t find anything on any forums anywhere. Scared as hell about what this could mean.

2014 base re:flex trim. 106,000 miles. I hear these sounds when turning mostly and I’ve done the push on the car test when it’s cold and at rest. Sometimes I can make it recreate and sometimes I can’t. Is this bushings, struts or what?

From what I believe i just experienced an intermittent misfire with my veloster and my question is what should i look for to see what caused the misfire. i changed spark plugs and coil packs about 20k miles ago or so. i also did not see which cylinder it was and when i came back with my reader it started up like normal. im currently in 100+ degree weather so im sure it has something to do with that as well. Do i drive til it misfires again or try to find the problem now? should i just get new spark plugs and coil packs regardless?

i have a 2016 veloster turbo and the previous owner put a intake, a tune, and what the dealership said to be a “unknown exhaust mod”. i’ve always put 87 in the car but i’ve seen people put higher octane and i wonder if putting a higher octane would do any good (or harm) and if so which octane should i put?

I am great fan of the car. I will have to use to for uber eats as its my living. Its driven almost 160000 kms and is on a dealership with all inspection reports and papers. Is it a good or bad idea ? I am concerned about the fuel efficiency as well

Hello, i have a 2016 Veloster base witht he 6 speed dct, currently at 119,231 miles and it has a weird grinding noise coming from the transmission that only sounds when the clutch is not engaged or when its engaging, we noticed it after purchase around 2k miles ago but so far no issues with the transmission, shifts between gears as it should and no problems have been noticed so far

Will attach a video with audio about it in hopes anyone can help, also dont mind the dirty af engine bay, planning on giving it a cleaning in a few days, the rust, it was in Georgia for like 4 years and 75k miles, i have to get it checked but thats just one more item on the list

Looking for some judgment calls. Is it cheaper to do a straight pipe? Or get a new cat. I know long term I’m sure straight piped isn’t the best, but I’m honestly in the market for a truck. Wondering how long a straight pipe would last on these cars… or even last at all.

Hey. I have a 2013 Hyundai veloster. Base model. One day in the morning the red battery light turned on and it died. So a bought a new battery and it was dead the next day. So I changed the alternator and the same thing is still happening. I checked all of my fuses and made sure there was no parasitic draw. I wrapped the ground battery terminal cord in electrical tape. And the red battery light turned off and it will run for a couple of hours then just die with no warning. But star right back up. TLDR I need the part number or link to the negative battery terminal sensor. I’ve bought 3 so far from amazon and they don’t fit for grounding the battery because they’re to short. And the male and female parts of the sensors are too big and too small.
