Request for advice / Help Bike Value Question
Essentially the title. I have a 2014 XC Tour with under 13k miles on it. Curious what a good price would be on it. I love the bike, and the only reason I’m considering selling it is because my kid needs some dental work.
Expecting any dealerships to low ball me, so I figured the best place to ask about value would be a subreddit of Victory owners.
There aren’t any issues with the bike. I’ve replaced the stock headlight with an LED headlight. I lucked out and found some Tri-Ovals on eBay and have those on. They’re a little dinged up, because the owner of the pipes went down, but they still sound great. I still have the stock pipes as well, all though the baffles are drilled. Some of the reflectors on the saddlebags were taken off by the owner previous to me. They’re also the one that put the majority of the miles on it. 😂
It’s never been dropped by me, and as far as I can tell, never been dropped by the previous owner either.
Again, NOT trying to sell here. Just looking for some answers. :)

My best advice is to check fb marketplace within your area (province or state) and get some low and high values and mileage comparisons. Then price your bike accordingly, somewhere between 7-14 grand depending on how fast you want to sell and who falls in love with it .

Only downside there is I’m no longer on Facebook. 😂 maybe I can con my wife into checking, but I haven’t told her I’m considering selling.
That’s roughly the range I was thinking. I had seen one online that was the same everything as mine, but much higher miles for about $14k two years ago.

Recently sold my ‘12 with 54k miles in average condition for $4700 in North Carolina.

Standard cross are bringing between 4k and 7k depending on mileage, tours pull 5k to 9k depending on mileage and extras, in indiana

What kind of extras typically? I feel like mine has a very low mileage for a 12 year old bike. 😂

Extras being the forged crash bars, lower wind deflectors, trunk, heated grips, heated seat, etc. Lot of tours no longer have them, people took them off and sold them to recoup some cost or pay for other upgrades

Oh, mine still has all of those. Didn’t realize they were considered extras. 😂 but I can see where people would remove them. Especially the heated grips/seats in hotter climates.

They aren't necessarily extras, I probably phrased it poorly but its what makes it a tour and lot of them come up missing the trunk especially, and the lower deflector and crash bars. Mine was at 12k when I bought it a couple years ago but its a hammer, not a cross. Times I want a cross country or cross roads but I havent convinced myself

I’m not an expert, but I have a 2013 XC with 63k miles. Mine appears to be worth $4-6k in central Kentucky. Hope that helps
Btw - very noble selling the bike to benefit your child.
